About the development of Son of Nor

Hello everybody!

Most of you are probably new to Son of Nor, so I wanted to share with you the developer diaries that we have been releasing since September 2012 up to this day.

Through these diares we showed how we were progressing in the development of the game. Also we took these opportunities to ask the community that followed us for feedback to improve the game.

You will find interesting moments, funny moments and great moments in these diaries, like when we were able to reach our goal on Kickstarter, when we were Greenlit or even when we got our first taste of the voice acting!

We will continue to release diaries with news, updates, post mortems and so on. These are usually posted in the announcements section of the Community HUB. So stay tuned!

-This game would be way better with friends if you could:
-do melee (with swords, fists and bows)
-changing element spell from button so you won't need to open the book
-wind push would have more powerful knockback and smaller knockback to same button where you throw objects. You know, the little shockwave like stream would be a cool way to make a little knockback.
-Also custom map making would be really nice. Similiar system to Halo's forge mode.
-Using Hurricane with mass tekekinesis would make you fly higher with little tornado under character.
-Mixed race customazation after completing game for that certain profile (bird and lizard race)
-You could make a clones using summon ghost and rock, sand or wood and when they die they would turn into rock satue (rock), small sand hill (sand) or turn into ash (wood)
-Also if you could like absorb wood or rock to make a little shield skin for you

It's so hard to find good local multiplayer games nowadays and this seems really promising :)

No, thank you for noticing my feedback. I like to give suggestions to make game better. And by the way the achievement system is broken, I can only see achievements I've got and not the locked ones. Hope it will be fixed soon :)

Thanks for the bug report! I'll inform the correct people. Also if you can create a bug report from the in-game by pressing F4 :)

I started playing the game last year in April and completed the whole singleplayer campaign. After finishing this mode, I decided to start making a "let's play" video playlist to help promote the game. I unfortunately stopped for personal reasons of being occupied with other things, however, I recently started playing a little bit and wanted to continue my series on youtube, especially since there was a new update. Much to my dismay I found that this update has greatly reduced the frame rate of the game when I record to the point where it is unplayable. I play on a Mac Pro with a 2.5 GHz intel Core i5 processor and a 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory, I am wondering whether this is my computer slowly deteriorating or if this update has caused bugs and low quality playing. If the latter I would like it to be fixed so that I may continue my video series of promoting the game.
Bugs include:
The game randomly shutting down
Freezing
Unable to advance in the level (level 13 to be specific)
Extremely low framerates (unplayable)
(Note: most of the above occurs during the recording with a basic quicktime player recording tool)
