tiny FOV?
is there a way (perhaps through a config file or console command) i searched for the registry key but all i was able to find was the resolution settings. My problem is the narrow 90 degree fov is killing me. is there a way to extend it to 120, or maybe even 130?

p.s. i got some interesting AI ideas i can throw down if anyone cares.

There is a registry key for it, untested if setting higher than 90 works.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die
OptionsFieldOfView

EDIT: tested 120 seems to work. Just remember not to go into the options menu as I think that would reset it.

You can also see the current value in game by opening the console and typing:
sg OptionsFieldOfView
To set a new value you would type:
sg OptionsFieldOfView 150
You have to quit to the main menu and start again for the change to take effect.

Confirmed also.

The registry change worked for me too.

There should be towns of survivors. these survivors can work together select an AI leader, ect. they would basically function as a "survivor town." but these AI should be permanent within the town, unless they die (respawning should be possible as an option). they should be able to keep a reputation with the player, much like FABLE's AI system. if you kill a few survivors, the people become fearful/hostile. specific AI may become aggressive while others fearful, mimicking different human behaivor. if you steal things from the survivor's houses and they catch you (this could hook off of the "hearing" function, making the people check out weird sounds in houses) then they could become more hostile to you or perhaps capture you and take some of your things (perhaps a really cool function is they tie you in a chair in a room or something and if you have aknife you can cut yourself out). or helping survivors, healing ones injured by zombies, and other things could have rewards.
