Hi s4wtf,

Really sorry to hear this. Does the issue happen 100% every time you try to load into the game? Is it always in the same place - the load transitioning into the first act?

If you have the patience to check a handful of times - if the crash is consistent, we should be able to retrieve a minidump to shed some more light on the error.

We'll look into this and do what we can!
Luke
Exact same problem
LetsFnRage, if you have answers to any of the questions I posed to s4wtf, I'll do my best to look into the issue as soon as possible!

May also help to get the specs of the PC you're using.
Yes this happens every time in the loading screen of the first act Was a shame i was looking forward to this game
We really have no lead on this one yet, as there's no specific trick or repro steps to it from the sound of it. We are looking into it! If I could get your PC specifications, that might give us something to start with.
Hi guys, we have the same problem here. I play on a Core i5 with a Crossfire of AMD 5770 and the game works just fine, while on my girlfriend's computer, which is a Core 2 Quad with integrated Intel video chipset, there is no way to go past the loading screen of the first play. Her driver is up-to-date, she has 4 GB of RAM just like me, and enough free space on her hard disk. If you could figure it out, that'd be great. Thanks in advance!
Our lead dev believes minidumps from any crashes should be saved locally... If you go to Foul Play in your Steam Library, right click, select properties, select the LOCAL FILES tab and select Browse Local Files... There might be files with a mdmp extension.

If any of these are present, they'd be invaluable to us. Please email them to luke.borrett(at)Mediatonic.co.uk or add me as a Steam friend and get in contact to find an alternative way to send the files my way.

Cheers,
Luke.
Thanks for your help Luke but I had no luck finding any minidump file... I guess this kind of game crash does not generate any.
Just trying to narrow things down... How long does the load occur for before the crash notification? Is it pretty much instant, or are there a few seconds of the turning gears on the load screen?

If so, roughly how many?
For me it's about ten seconds.
Same here. the gears turn for about 10 seconds then it crashes. My specs are crap. Core i3 Intel integrated graphics. I figured since i could run skyrim with no problem that this game would work too.
Yeah basically around 5-10 seconds of the loading screen of the first act does the error message come up
same here. It was all fine till I waited for the first act and then the error pops up.
Same problem.

Intel 4500 (before you say anything, this can somehow run Skyrim on high settings without a problem) graphics chip.

Decent dual-core CPU.

Windows 7.

As far as I can tell this shouldn't be happening.

This is a unity game, right?
This isn't Unity - our own engine derived from C++. We're investigating this issue, but unfortunately without crash logs or the ability to reproduce it on any of our machines in the office, it's proving hard to identify the cause :(

Fixing this is an incredibly high priority for us and I apologise to anyone inconvenienced by the bug as we try to figure it out.
