Linux, Mac and Steam OS version?
Will there be a version for other operating systems, or will it stay windows exclusive?

I'd love to play this on my ubuntu laptop, but I ain't holding my breath; we're lucky enough getting it at all.

+1, would insta-buy for Linux/SteamOS. (The other one, too - loved the original on PSP).

Linux/SteamOS version is very much needed.

Not really. It's a niche OS used by only a tiny fraction of PC gamers (low single digit percent). I'm fine with Windows, personally, and it isn't like GNU/LInux users don't have the option to run in Wine or boot into a Windows install to play. This game probably isn't going to sell all that great on PC anyway (it's a console-style RPG), so I can why they aren't going to waste the time and money to port it.

Yeah, the game is awesome anyway and I'm also willing to play it on windows, but I just wanted to ask if there's something planned. Or I hope they at least consider doing HMH3 cross platform, if there's ever going to be one

HMH3 won't come. This version sold poorly, and the HMH IP/Series is pretty much good as dead now. Ports are an even less likely scenario sadly.

Did they say it sold poorly? Shame if so. :(

Sure did.

:( that's a real shame... this is one of my favorite games in Steam. Funny, innovative, map editor, multiplayer challengues, it even has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VR support. It deserves good sales.

A Linux version would have been the icing of the cake.
