so for global ranking there used to be 7 maxed out players for gems now there are 2 what happened?

I played Battleblock Theater with controller until now but suddenly the game doesn't react to both of my XBox 360 controllers anymore and I have the same issue when playing Castle Crashers but my controllers still work with Alien Hominid Invasion. (I use Ubuntu btw.) Any advice?...
