Dead Hiver race

Just started a new game and noticed Dead Hive as a new race. There is no description so just looking to find out what it's all about?

Edit: I just noticed there are also Cannibals and Cannibals Skavs as new races. Wondering if a mod I subcribed to and then unsubbed may be the cause or if this is a new addition.

You have the Recruitable Prisoners mod? I know Nanogiraffe made them playable there so you could edit them at a plastic surgeon if you recruited them.

I do have that mod and it must be what's causing it. I think I'll stick to regular recruits for now because some of those new races start with +100% to str and/or dex which might be a little OP.

I wouldn't say so much "OP" as a gamekiller in general. Kenshi is about growth, but it's also experiencing that growth. The +100% is exp gain, not necessarily 2x str/dex, so it just means you're effectively cutting the player experience in half..
