Anyway, Wohoo :D
Does this mean people can soon start buying this game from Steam? Early Access?
While the game is already available on our website, we won't be selling it on Steam until the Summer of 2015.
I'll close "One year" soon...
Alpha teaser is really cool
No worries... no plans for those achievements in the new version (or the 1 year achievement either).
Thanks. As of Dec 2014, the current trailer on Steam is a bit out of date as collisions and impacts look even better in the latest version. We'll be posting a new teaster/trailer in the next few months.
And it's a steep increase in quality and features... the original one was made by me... the new one is made by a team of seven. It's a complete rewrite in a brand new engine in development for 3 years now. Awesome collisions, climate, material properties, and tons of simulations and scenarios to explore. And there's lots more to come...
1. Steam workshop?
2. Steam Trading Cards?
3. Will I get Steam key if I buy US2 from your Humble Widget? That's the most compelling reason to 'preorder' because I hate managing things outside Steam.
2 - Steam Trading Cards are also planned, but not yet added.
3 - Yes. If you buy now via the Humble Widget on our website, it will activate and update via Steam... exactly the same as if you wait to buy via Steam (except you get it now instead of later).
Only thing I will point out was Steam said the download was ~1315MB but instead it's only downloaded 349MB, no complaint, just an observation.
Can't wait to try it out, bit of a fan of US1!
Thanks Dan & the team for their hard work, hope to see those updates stream in and good luck with Steam launch in Summer 2015.
Any plans for 3D and Controller support in updates?
