Bueno... No es mal juego ¿Porque soy tan basura de darle negativo entonces? Porque jugue los otros Lost Planet.
Cambio completamente la forma de juego y francamente no me parece muy entretenida.

disclaimer: el juego al igual que sus antecesores fueron jugados completamente en dificil para una mayor experiencia en mecanicas .

Despues de jugar lost planet 1 y 2 me gusto mucho el cambio de protagonista, claro Jim no es un militar o mercenario, es solo un trabajador que nisiquiera tiene un VS(Vital Suit usados en lost planet 1 y 2), el porta un mecha de trabajo que a lo mucho contara con un taladro y una pinza electrica.

Esto nos da una perspectiva mas "casera", Jim no es capaz de soportar mas de 3-5 golpes de akrids (en dificil) a diferencia del protagonista de lost planet 1 y 2 que mientras tenga e-term sera inmortal aqui no importa tu e-term debido a que el armonizador que usamos en lost planet 1 y 2 aun no existe (se crea hasta el final del juego en una cinematica).

Las mecanicas del juego es cierto estan mas ambientadas a un mass effect 3, dead space o gears of war y esto no es malo, la mecanica de los dos juegos antecesores se basaban completamente en el VS, sin el no solo perdias daño si no velocidad y movilidad, cosa que en lost planet 3 supieron suplir bien, ahora contamos con un gancho para movernos por el mapa y Jim es capaz de esquivar, cubrirse y correr largas distancias.

El ambiente del juego es hermoso, se puede notar esa familiaridad con el primer lost planet, un ambiente nevado, hostil casi muerto si no fuera por los akrids, el giro de trama del juego es algo organico pero en parte anticlimatico al pasar de matar akrids con relativa facilidad de esquivar a estar con akrids en espacios reducidos mas que dar un ambiente de terror da algo de rabia darte cuenta que mecanicas que antes explotabas ahora apenas son utiles por el espacio disponible.

El mapa se podria catalogar como semi abierto debido a que a pesar de que nos dan zonas medianas a explorar estas pueden contar con zonas inaccesibles hasta avanzar la historia lo cual puede incomodar la exploracion o busqueda de coleccionables, lo mejor es dejar logros hasta la ultima mision (punto de no retorno).

En general el juego es bueno, Jim es un buen protagonista que nos deja ver el hostil mundo de EDN-III desde la perspectiva de un simple contratista el cual se vio envuelto involuntariamente en algo mas grande que el pero lo supo llevar, las mecanicas del juego son buenas, no son perfectas pero es facil acostumbrarse a ellas, el diseño del mapa es facil de recordar y el viaje rapido es util para misiones secundarias, el ambiente esta muy bien logrado, realmente sientes la hostilidad donde sea que estes, la historia del juego es buena, cuenta con giros de trama organicos y logicos, claro la primera vez que entras a instalaciones antiguas el ambiente y mecanias cambian abruptamente de disparar-esquivar a esquivar-golpe-disparo y de hostilidad aceptable a correr o morir( motivo de muchas quejas por el desbalance aunque con municion especial de escopeta es rapida la seccion).

Recomiendo totalmente el juego sobretodo en rebajas, tambien aconsejo jugarlo la primera vez en facil o normal, decidir ir en dificil sin saber el ritmo del juego te jugara malas pasadas al principio del juego y a mitad del mismo, 8-10

pd: el apartado musical no lo toque mucho debido a que la banda sonora del juego esta bien ambientada pero el reproductor de muscia del juego no lo toque nunca

El juego me parecia un mass effect mezclado con gears of war al comienzo pero al final me di cuenta que es un juegazo lleno de misterios que te tienen al borde del asiento y quieres seguir jugando mas y mas para descubrirlo bastante interesante su historia,su estilo de batallas y sus misiones lo unico malo que vi es que el online estaba muerto pero todo lo demas es una joya super recomendado si quieres un juego con una buena campaña y buena dificultad 👍👍👍👍

Lost Planet 3 no es un Lost Planet, de hecho se asemeja mas a Dead Space 3.
Sin embargo, el juego cuenta con una historia mucho mas enfocada y elaborada al drama y a los personajes de lo que Lost Planet Extreme Conditions y Lost Planet 2 hicieron juntos. Ese es su punto fuerte.
Como juego lo recomiendo mucho, pese a tener sus problemas de controles. No por respuesta de los mismos sino que al principio son un caos. Pero una vez te haces a ellos disfrutas este juego como un gran título.
El sistema de juego es de mundo abierto pero lineal, es decir que el mundo abierto no contiene grandes áreas de exploración, sino que podes volver a cualquier punto del mapa en general para ir haciendo misiones secundarias o encontrando pequeños secretos conforme te van dando mejoras para ir a zonas que antes no podías.
El gameplay o gunplay es divertido y pulido. Los Akrids los hay variados y usar el Meca al pelear es genial. De hecho, pasaremos mucha parte del juego montado en él.
El apartado gráfico es bueno, al menos a día de hoy, el juego no luce mal, ha envejecido bien. Y el apartado sonoro (sobre todo el OST) brutales.

Recomendado: 8/10

Este juego es de vista a tercera persona, tiene una mezcla de mass effect obviamente RPG... de Dead space (pero sin cagarte de miedo) y de Darksouls (si lo juegas seguido me vas a entender xD), te podes cubrirte pero igual te cagan a bombarderos y hay misiones secundarias.

El protagonista es un soldado o un ingeniero e minero, llamado jim peyton que cobra el doble o triple por arriesgarse su vida, pero le pagan en (E-Therm) Energia termica, con eso podes actualizar las armas que sean mas facheras y con mucho daño (en modo dificil son re duros los bichos).
Simplemente vos solo con todo el mundo de los aliens

Al primer nivel si jugas en modo dificil, los bichos te van a dar una buena paliza que te vas a contener el tilt de morir bastante y tienes que ingeniartelas o apuntar bien.

Es mejor que jueges en modo facíl, por que el dificil le quita lo divertido y intentar miles de veces de 1 punto a punto, o sea que estas pasando de nivel y moris en el medio volves todo de nuevo :/ y ya no te dan mas ganas de jugar ademas pelear como 2 veces un enorme cangrejo escarchado te deprime es mucho peor que sekiro o darksouls.
y el mecha esta buenisimo pero algo tosco, no es como los anteriores juegos lost planet 1 y 2.

Tiene algunas caidas de frames pero estable 60fps capados si jugas con sincronia vertical no notas o un poco, no se si es mejor instalarla en sdd por que no es mundo abierto y cargar cada nivel como mass effect.

This game got a bad rep on launch because it was a huge departure from the series established norms. However, I think it holds up well and on its own merits. It has a good story, compelling characters, top notch visuals for the time, and it's pretty easy to run these days.

BEWARE, THOUGH: This is *NOT* a game like Lost Planet 1 and 2. In fact, I would say this title is actually closer to games like "Dead Space" or "Doom 3" than it's own predecessors. BUT- If you like single player games with well written narratives, then give it a try. You can routinely find this game on sale (both on Steam and third party marketplaces). In fact, I just scored Lost Planet 3 for $2. You cannot beat a game of this caliber for that price, "old" as it may be.

If you DO decide to pick it up, I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Okay, so here is the deal.
Yes, the gameplay is altered substantially from the previous two, yes the T-Energy mechanic doesn't come into play sadly. I had hoped the game might have had a section as a nod to the old games where Jim's suit gets damaged but alas it did not.
Co-operative play is also not featured anywhere in the single player story.

This said however, while the gameplay is somewhere inbetween extreme condition and the first dead space title, the controls most of the time feel fairly fluid.
The characters, especially Jim Peyton himself are really likable and it kept me immersed in the story. Jim's wife is a very interesting character (as well as Jim himself)and the game has a lot of soul.
Jim isn't a grizzled space marine who can kill an akrid from 300 metres, but he is also not out of his depth.
With a temperament somewhere between a trucker and a cowboy he instantly became (for me) one of my favourite videogame protagonists of all time

When you're out there on your own, with just music you brought from planet earth (the game imports music from your computer files so you can creat your own soundtrack for the cold wastelands) you really feel like there's no-one else you can count on but yourself. You feel isolated and in danger at every second.
This also works in reverse, that when you get a message from your in game wife you feel like you're at home, like you're making a difference and the characters really come to life. The same can be said when you return to coronis and upgrade your rig and weapons, greeting old friends.

There's a fair bit of longevity in the upgrades to your rig. Certain upgrades allow you to get to new places you couldn't before, or allow you to scrounge for scrap metal in new places.
The controls when fighting the akrid will feel a little alien at first due to the over the shoulder viewpoint of the camera, but you quickly get used to the contextual-only use of the grappling hook as well as dodging out of the way of enemies.

Fans of the series will be pleased to know that this does actually provide an interesting and very unexplained part of the story of the franchise and while they do retcon one or two things, it really does feel like it's for the better. The plot makes sense and while isn't anything spectacular, it is coherent and well-written. The supporting cast for me, was what really pulled along the plot for me and kept me interested even while trying to hunt down those annoying albino akrid.


The setpieces out in the ice and snow are quite fantastic and this is where the game excels, in the sheer scale of the areas outside. The opposite is unfortunately true in that on the occasional offchances you go into an enclosed space, combat and movement can feel clunky and out of place.
It's a shame likely the repetitive sidequests will put anyone off buying this because the atmosphere is amazing.
You really do feel like a lone contractor out in the middle of nowhere drilling for a precious substance.
I imagine the feeling and atmosphere in this game is not all that disimilar from the feelings of isolation and longing that ice truckers deal with on a day to day bonus.

Which brings us to the Rigs. The rig is not the vital suit (this is a prequel don't forget), it is an entirely different breed of machine, but this isn't a bad thing.
Yes, there are a few mechs in this game and while at first you may lament the loss of having shoulder mounted rockets and gatling guns, you will immediately warm up to the defensive and offensive capabilities of Jim's machine. Admittedly the rig can feel quite slow at times and while this may have been an artistic choice by the devs at Spark it can bog down the pace at times until you access fast travel quite early in the game. The good news is that those who loved the sheer mayhem and carnage of slicing off a limb or two from the large akrid will be right at home. It is just as satisying, maybe moreso to time your grab just right as you hold the creature and helplessly drill into it's cores with the drill arm as their lifeblood (T-energy) spills out.

I should point out that I was only ever interested in the game (and series) for the single player experience and therefore I did not touch multiplayer. My understanding is some of the maps from extreme condition make a reappearance and generally most reviewers say the online is where the strength of the game really lies.
This game did poorly due to the mountain of scathing critiques and generally poor write-ups it received.
I personally enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who was a fan of the series for the story.
In terms of all the bad press and poor scores, I'd advise you to try it for yourself, it's not the most amazing game in terms of graphics or presentation but I sure had fun with it.

In a rather plausible future, Earth has acquired interplanetary capabilities, however it also incurred a massive energy crisis as its resources came on the verge of depletion. The solution? T-Energy, a near-miraculous, all-purpose power source found in the bowels of a remote ice ball known as EDN 3. You’ll wear the insulated boots of Jim Payton, an external contractor working for interplanetary megacorp NEVEC, and tasked with acquiring as much of the substance as possible, while fighting against both extreme conditions and the dangerous local fauna.

LP3’s setting is realized rather well, as it manages to convey great desolation and sense of loss with the stalagmite-ridden, storm-ravaged areas of the planet. The struggle of NEVEC’s teams against nearly-untameable forces of nature and the deadly Akrid is portrayed well, as it is the profit-oriented corporate mindset that prevails above all else. At times, mostly through rundown facilities and damp caves, LP3 also deviates to a more ‘horror-like’ atmosphere and does so decently well.

Despite such potential and premise, all the characters that encompass Jim’s adventures, up to and including himself, prove unremarkable. An insipid protagonist is put side-by-side with ‘textbook antagonistic underdog’, cheerful ‘notice me senpai’ youngster trying to shine, ‘tired boss’ and more clichèd characters from start to end. The story is rarely interesting, as it uses the already tired ‘humans shouldn’t meddle with what they don’t understand’ trope to produce a mediocre plot that feels stale, already-seen after just a couple hours.

Being a corporate contractor, your job will be executing various tasks from your superiors, which act as main missions. Your faithful RIG - an industrial bipedal robot as tall as a house - will be a vital asset to accomplish the job, as it’s equipped with utility tools that double as weapons. LP3 alternates RIG-driving phases with much more common on-foot sections, where the careful explorers will be rewarded, as there’re T-energy (currency) drops hidden around, lore-related material and Specialized Components, vital to upgrade your RIG with new, better functions.

While the main activity is fighting Akrid hordes, there’s a bit of simple platforming, some puzzle-solving and exploring thrown in the mix, to give some much-needed variety to the loop. While this is an appreciable effort, the extremely limited roster of locations will weigh down heavily as you pass the same place, with the same enemies, for the 5th time in a row to do some side-quest. Generally you’ll unlock more weapons, upgrades and RIG enhancements as the main story progresses, although some of these are tied to secondary quests or even collectible-fetching.

Jim will carry two primary weapons with limited ammo, and the classic ‘infinite pistol’ as sidearm, plus a couple very powerful grenades. Almost anywhere, EDN 3 is crawling with Akrid of diverse shapes and sizes - each with different abilities and attack patterns. All weapons have some sort of specialty target, for instance the sniper rifle will be great against single, armored targets but near useless versus hordes - special ammo that drastically alters how each gun functions is a thing, too, but can’t be refilled by normal ammo drops to offset its power.

Generally, fighting Akrid involves well-timed dodges, taking cover from ranged attacks, and hitting the glowing weak spots to inflict major damage, although some fights (especially bosses) may have unique mechanics unto themselves, that however rarely prove truly exciting or fresh - actually, they mostly prove clunky, half-assed garbage.

RIG combat sees Jim using his mech to deal punishment to the enemies, despite it not being a military vehicle. A 10-ton drill to the head will instantly kill most smaller enemies, and deal massive damage to larger ones - given that their weak spots are exposed. A system of quick-time prompts to trigger counter-attacks and special moves exists when fighting most ‘big guys’, however I found that using the RIG is generally a downgrade compared to going down and dealing with them on foot as your weapons, united with Jim’s agility, are just better than the RIG’s.

Using the T-energy awarded from missions and kills, Jim will not only be able to upgrade his tools, but also acquire new ones alongside unique upgrades tied to the completion of specific side-quests. While the character doesn’t directly evolve, his equipment will. For instance, finding the rare Albino Tarkaas specimen will enable purchasing permanent passive skills, while extracting samples for the base’s chief scientist will unlock special ammo. These side-missions, while sometimes worthy in terms of rewards, prove extremely boring, slow and dull due to the overall pacing riddled with transitions, loading times and useless waiting: trust me, you will get bored of such chores long before the end of it all.

No me aburrio, pero no esperes mucha accion, Yo soporto este tipo de juegos de gestion

Lineal pasillo 3, ya con poner eso digo todo...
Capcom no se que trató de hacer con este ultimo juego de esta saga, trataron de darle un enfoque de terror y misterio al juego y la verdad la cagaron.
Olvidate de tener peleas epicas, peleas con un par de enemigos en pantalla (pocos) y que son faciles de derrotar...olvidate de bichos gigantescos como los del 1 o 2 (de aparecer aparecen un par, pero no son la gran cosa).
El mecha que tenes es lento a más no poder y aburrido, si lo comparas con entregas anteriores no te quedas con el ni loco.
El juego aveces exige que te enfrentes usando el sistema de coberturas, la verdad que aburre a mi gusto.
Tarde en pasarme el juego porque me salia esto siempre que steam se caia magicamente "Cambio de estado de inicio de sesión Lost Planet 3", si eras el desafortunado de tener esto en tu pantalla sos mandado a la pantalla de inicio del juego y si no estabas en un checkpoint...el juego basicamente te decia ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

5/10 le doy de nota, recomiendo jugar hasta Lost planet 2 y listo, solamente si sos masoquista jugalo a este.

PD: esta cosa tiene online, no se si andan los servers o que...no me digno a jugarlo ya que siempre termino desconectado de steam como mencione.
