whats the point?
I dont understand why you would make a game were if and when you die you lose everything you find or buy if you die you start from scratch again and the only time i die is from other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the server so then everything i do becomes useless how is this fun? a complete waist of money

you have to join a private server, look into forums for one; i agree with you, but do the search of servers.

The point is that death has serious and unwanted reprocussions. Hence why it is a survival game. If what you want is a death match style shooter then you wont be happy with this and should move on. There are plenty of games like that where you die and come back with full gear to run merily into the fray again.

A lot of people, myself included, find the aspect of the harshness of death in this game to be a positive factor. It is in fact one of the things that defines the genre.

I love this game, granted other players are the most deadly thing you will encounter in the game. The trick is to not get seen by other players and to loot things and take them back to a settlement and put them in the vault that way when you die (and you will die) you have some things to start off with. When your other character is ready to go into the game you can outfit them with the gear you have in your vault before joining the game so you don't start without anything and a flashlight is not much at all but it can do the trick in a pinch.
The purpose of the game is to survive. Obviously if people are unable to survive they will lose their items upon death, even those they bought.

It makes perfect sense in a game like this. What's the point of looting if you don't lose your items upon death? What's the point in killing other players if you get nothing for your efforts?
It makes perfect sense i do understand but in realty yeah die once lol your done working for things after that, but for a video game it should give you alittle something for the loss, like an incentive for the work and time for playing there game ya know but it is what it is

If by "a little incentive" you mean that you retain a little bit of your progress after you die then that is present in the game in a few different ways.
1) You retain xp earned and skills purchased using xp
2) You ratain any in-game dollars you pick up (no need to get them back to a safe zone even)
3) You retain anything that you do manage to get back into the safezone vault
Even if you have a power cutoff and/or because your internet provider decided to shutdown their internet for a maintenance without any warnings during your gameplay trying to kill zombies or running away from them? ^_^'

In another post I have suggested some ideas of how our items that we loot should work when we get killed and here is in few words:

Lets say if you have 2 (or more) same items, if you die then 1 of that item should stay in your backpack and the rest same items should drop. That way we all can be happy I believe :)

Oh and at least the big backpack should be the same too, if you wearing one big backpack it should be permanent on you and not loosing it on death but if you have a second one inside then you will loose the one that is inside.

^_^
