Automatic ban?

So I started up the game and created a character. When I started it up I was banned within 15 minutes of playing for no reason. Anyone else having this problem/know what to do?

Had this problem, no idea why at all. I guess we just have to put this game purchase down to experience.

the game has two different anti cheat systems

punkbuster and fairfight

punkbuster looks at what you have on your computer for example looks for hacks

fairfight looks at your stats and telemetry for cheating, glitching, exploting bugs/limits

so its not just having hacks installed that they ban for its also things like shooting through walls, being out of bounds like on rooftops that you cant be on top of, picking up weapons you cant be picking up cause they are in areas that you cant get to. etc.

so im not saying you were hacking, cheating, glitching, exploting bug, etc. perhaps its a bug with the game. i have no way of knowing.

if you are banned the first thing you need to do is determine who banned you pb or ff so that way you will know what you have to do.

pb will give you a violation number and a associated message

with the pb violation number you can find out what to do

if pb you will need to get your pb guid, again pbbans has a webpage for this

if its pb you get and run pbsvc.exe and run test it may tell you

if pb then you need to contact evenbalance and keep pbbans and hammer point in the loop

if ff then you need to contact hammer point and work it out with them

dont get deterred by any automated response. just add to the ticket and provide complete details of what happened

changes are if you were cheating they will not unban you, but if you are banned for no fault of your own like because of a bug that the game has with some luck they will.

so the more details that you can provide as to what happened the better hopefully your chance will be that when someone looks at your case

also a number of people maybe getting banned because the game is crashing on them and they immediately restart the game and the security thinks there are multiple copies if this is your case you would know because you would have gotten a specific message, but perhaps you ignored it.

also a number of people maybe getting banned because the game warned them repeatedly, kicked them repeatedly and they ignored the warnings and the kicks did not resolve them and continue to restart and play the game. after certain number of times of warning and kicking you basically get banned.

regardless i would not just give up if innocent i would create a ticket explain my case as best i could and try to work it out with them.

also keep in mind they maybe busy with the sale and it may take days or even more then a week before its looked at and resolved, it it can be resolved.

The devs have a running history of randomly banning people in order to make more money off of those people rebuying their game. I suggest you stray away from it.

I have had a support ticket in for a week now for this very issue. It has not even been assigned to a support agent. They don't give a crap at all. Im doing whatever I have to, even going to the BBB. You CANNOT falsely accuse people of hacking, steal their money and then BAN them with NO evidence. In my case, I believe my password was stolen during the screw up by THEIR company when everyones passwords were exposed. Only problem, is I DID NOT KNOW until after I was banned. No email or anything from these thieves that they exposed MY password. But im banned for it. I am pursuing any action possible. This is just disgusting.

also please post any warning message(s) that you were getting prior to being banned. or post whether you were being kicked. or was pb having problems updating its defintions or communicating with its servers. of if you were crashing, etc.
