Is the friends thing implimented yet ?

I was looking at their new webasite and I saw
"The War Z: Zombie Game Friends

It's not easy to stay in touch with your friends in most games. This has been a key feature of War Z Zombie Game from the beginning. You are able to create a group, with friends, and then automatically join the same Zombie Game server together."

So this means the friends party system is in now. Awesome glad they are doing something right!!!!

NO. THERE IS NO FRIENDS LIST. AND I DOUBT THERE WILL EVER BE ONE. FALSE ADVERTISING FROM SERGEY AND HAMMEPOINT AS USUAL.

Patch notes 1/8/13
These are patch notes for next week (today is 1/4/13 )

Fixed a bug that caused players to take damage when walking down inclines.
Fixed bug that if logged out in air - you will not be able to get back into game
Increased the server shutdown timer to 5 min
Optimized shadow rendering for better performance
Optimized scene rendering for rendering
Shadow quality on ultra settings was improved
Other very technical rendering optimization for greater FPS
Optimized zombie rendering
If you have recent video card and start game for the first time, it will not default into low quality, and instead will default into appropriate quality settings depending on how powerful your video card is
Terrain - Worked on the Clearview Area, Barth Farm Area, and Chicos Hideaway. Cleared areas from too much grass, creating more patchy fields.

PS: They optimised everythin by bluring the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. Like old games from the 90's used to do with fog.

You do realise your probably getting an existing weapon that will be reskinned as a sword. Unless you can currently dismember in the game i highly doubt you will get this new functionality .... the best I would hope for is a promise that they will do it eventually and we all know what that is worth comming from Sergei.

Oh really...? well as long as we can travel in the cars, to meet up with our friends. Maybe they are just really busy trying to fix the hat problem?

I doubt it'll be a reskin (a hammer shaped sword would look pretty goofy).

That being said, the game is already pretty half assed so.. maybe?

they mean a unique version of it, distinct from the version that is lootable in game

I agree. Solving the hat-issue undoubtedly has a higher priority right now. I mean, no need for friends, right, if there are no hat collections to show to them.
