FPS DROP

Any idea why im getting low fps on my laptop ? yes it's a laptop, but i think it's not that bad to run this game on like 15 fps, even on LOW ;c It's not even overheating. It doesn't matter if i play on windowed or on low resolution.

Specs:

Intel Core i5-2430M with turbo boost to 3 Ghz
8 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT 540M (latest drivers)
Windows 7

But is it really that bad to have 15 fps on Infestation. I got more fps on bf3. I'm not comparing bf3 to infestation, but man. On low it looks bad and yet i get low fps. It's only this game that keeps messing with me and i really like this game.

game requirements are given for desktop components

laptop components are 1-2 generations behind desktop ones

so most likely your cpu/gpu does not meet the minimum requirements to run this game.

Stanroy turn off all eyecandy like shadows, vsync, etc... see if that helps if you ofc not already have done so, but a new pc would work wonders for you buds, good luck :)

Ok, so i don't know why, but when i plugged in my laptop to my tv (24") i get more fps. It's not like just this once, but when i play on my laptop screen i get less fps than on my tv. It's just WTF. I connected it using HDMI cable. It's not really a solution for other laptop players, but it worked for me somehow.
