Don't Starve stutters on a high-end PC
I recently upgraded my PC from a humble Core2Duo E8400 @ 4.0 Ghz / 4 GB to a i7 5820K @4.1 Ghz / 16 GB basis; the GPU (a Nvidia GTX 760) stayed the same, as well as all of its settings (energy saving is off, triple buffering is on)
All runs perfectly... except for Don't Starve: If I run the game for a prolonged period of time, it begins to stutter periodically (seems like the framerate dropped to 15 fps for several seconds - something that simply didn't happen on my old PC). Any ideas?

Okay, I seem to have solved my problem:

Opening the task manager and limiting the game to just one CPU helped.

Well, actually it didn't - I just played for one hour and the stuttering was there again.

Erm developers... it would be highly appreciated if you could take a look into this matter!

Tried it again today just for the heck of it - the stuttering's still strong with this game. Is this problem even looked in to?
