If you could add any pet to Don't starve what would it be?

Any Pet at all for instance, a dog, a cat, a dragon, a wyvern (i think that's how you spell it!), anyway get creative if you coulld add any pet in Don't Starve ANY AT ALL

What it seems the trend is, is a pet rock crab that you can mine for flint or rocks. My idea is that the crab looses health as you mine it and you will have to wait for it to grow back its rocky shell in order to mine it again; excessive mining can kill it. Probably found in caves. Seems a lot like those rock crabs that already exsist tho...

I think it'd be cool if you could get a hound pup, maybe as a low chance from one of those bone dens or something. Could be just the right mix of cute and vicious.

Building on my last post...

I suppose the rock crab could fight with you, but i feel like he would be passive to creatures that attack you but would attack creatures that attacked him. He wouldn't do much damage but he would be a tank and absorb a lot of damage. His health would be shown by the amount of layers of rock on him (as he took damage, his rock armor would slowly "chip" away as it does when you mine him).
