See the "Error : Minimum System requirements not met ??" thread for possible solutions.

Thanks for the help!
Went to the thread mentioned and the tip about the launcher solved the problem.
Now the game is working fine.

Ran fine on 8.1, but it crashes when I load my saves on 10.
The opening and menu load just fine, but loading a save shows a corrupted load screen (mostly grey) and then the game loads to a grey screen with the location in the bottom left corner, but everything but that bit of text is grey.
It hangs at this point, and if I can't exit quick enough, I will be forced to hard reset.
It's given a STOP error once, relating to the graphics driver, but usually it just completely freezes up.
Maybe just an issue with the Windows 10 driver?

Is it just this game or are you having trouble updating your video card?

I have exact same problem as yours, I gave up troubleshooting and rolled my machine back to Windows 8.1.

Someone posted a solution in my thread, but I have not try it.

I'd already done a clean install of the drivers. I did it as soon as I started having trouble, since it was an in place update. It made no difference.
I can't understand what the other guy means, either. My best guess is that he means that he completely reinstalled, but made a system partition for just Windows files and had everything else separate?
I haven't reinstalled, yet, but my partitions are already done in that sort of way.
Anyway, I'm going to start my own thread, though I doubt it'll help. I think it's just teething.

Hi,

This video help me a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLjxhB0-s2A
in the description of the video there are all the setting for all the platform like this one bellow

For Steam
To get this to work on steam, open steam, right click on the witcher, click properties, click set launch options, put the
"-dontForceMinReqs" there, click ok

and you don't need to re-install the SO or the driver.

I had the same problem. The Win10 x64. Solution: The program called Hydralogix, which turn on the system startup, shutdown it saved the situation. You can play both in the version of the GOG and Steam. Regards
