About the combat system: let's go technical....

Read and saw a lot. But I still have doubts on how the combat system actually works in this game. Here are my concerns:

-during your attacks (single or string of) are you rooted ?
-during your queued attacks, can you switch target on the fly without breaking the queue ?
-in order to add new moves/abilities to my queue while fighting, do I have to tact pause the game or can I add them via keys ?
-I've seen that Of Orc and Men has un-bindable keys. Does GoT share the same (big) fail ?
-targeting system is done with mouse and key or just a key ?
-does the combat take positioning in any consideration ?

I'm only at chapter 2 but I think I can answer most of your questions (given you still need it 48h later).

-You can't run and slash if that's what you mean. You can freely move during combats but you kind of stop when you hit someone.

-I'm not 100% sure but if I recall I was able to do that when a second foe was coming at me, so don't quote me on that but I think you can switch targets for the actions to come without breaking the queue.

-You can use the keys if you prefer to, yes.

-I was able to change from qwerty to azerty in the options and had to rebind a key or two so no, you can bind the keys to your liking.

-You can switch targets with q and e or simply left click on a foe.

-There are a few AoE attacks so yes, positioning is important in my opinion. Ranged weapons also have a limited range.

Ty for your time, mate. Very helpful infos here. At the moment I'm considering Of Orcs and Men over this one. The combat seems to be a little more tactical there and the stealth gameplay with the goblin seems way better than the sniff and search you can do with the dog in GoT. Sure GoT is strong with the lore and has better gears/appearance. I guess I'll have to go for both games.
