Dishonored
What we know about Dishonored 2
Story:

-The game takes place 15 years after the events of Dishonored, and will feature Corvo and Emily in the coastal town of Karnaca located in Serkonos, which relies on wind power and whale oil shipped in from Dunwall.

-After another otherworldy usurper seizes the throne, Emily is driven out of Dunwall and becomes an outlaw.

-The island of Serkonos is ruled by Duke Theodanis Abele, who is described as an old benevolent Duke.

-Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano will both be playable. You will not be able to change between the two once you start the game.

-Kirin Jindosh, the man Emily is trying to assassinate in the cinematic trailer is one of Sokolov's former students, as evidence by the painting of Sokolov behind him. He built the Clockwork Soldiers, the golden bladed robots seen in the trailer. Clockwork Soldiers are powered by tanks of whale oil from Dunwall.

-Corvo has been confirmed to have a speaking role in Dishonored 2.

-The body Emily finds in the alleyway is infested with a new type of parasitic fly called bloodflies. Native to Serkonos, bloodflies burrow inside of living human hosts and build nests with many holes.

-Like Dunwall before it, Serkonos is in the midst of an epidemic. Bloodflies will be the DH2 equivalent of rats, growing in number as more people are killed. Corpes infested with them can be used to harass NPCs and enemies.

-Corvo's powers have 'evolved' since we saw him last in Dishonored, but will still have familar powers like Blink, Devouring Swarm, Bend Time, etc.

-Corvo will now have a full beard and shorter hair. (Viewable here. )

-The white coated soldiers in the trailer are the Grand Guard, whose officers are chosen by the duke. The Grand Guard serves as military and police for the entire island. Before the events of Dishonored, Corvo served as a low ranking guard of the Grand Guard. After serving the Grand Guard for 2 years, he was gifted to the empress as began his service Royal Protector due to his "amazing talents".

Gameplay:

-Emily now has Outsider's Powers herself. The powers she has been seen using include a new power called Far Reach, where a tentacle extends out of Emily's arm as a grappling hook. It will be used like how Corvo uses Blink. Mesmerise (her version of Bend Time) and a new power called Shadow Walk. This is the supernatural ability to run oneself into a dark smoke-like state. While in this state, Emily is till able to intereact with targets. The power can also be upgraded to allow Emily to hide on walls, making it ideal for stealth.

-Each character plays through the same series of missions, but each has different perspectives on the world. By playing through the campaign with both characters you will learn different things. There is no swapping between characters; once you choose one, you stick with it until a second playthrough.

-For Dishonored 2, Arkane is taking a new approach to upgrades. The last game offered upgrades that strengthened your powers. Dishonored 2 has powers, but from there it offers a bunch of skill trees that allow you to upgrade in asymmetrical ways. For instance, you could upgrade Far Reach to yank guys to you and assassinate them mid-air, grab objects with it, or pull objects.

-Arkane believes this new approach to upgrades offers a lot of replayability. You could go really deep with three specific powers in one playthrough, then switch it up for another.

-Emily has been seen using a sword similar to Corvo's (a switchblade), a crossbow/gunbow, a telescope, and electrical arc mines similar to Daud's.

Miscellaneous:

-Save games from Dishonored will not be transferable to Dishonored 2.

-Co-op will not be available.

Thanks for this Hylian, i'm really looking forward to this, do we know where in the storyline this takes place? and by that does this game still take into account the ending of dishonored 1 or is that ending not considered canon anymore.

Apparently, it will take 15 years after the events of Dishonored.

Also, because Emily is alive , I think that automatically makes the Ultimate Bad ending where Corvo arrives at a High Chaos-version of Kingsparrow Lighthouse and he fails to stop Havelock from jumping off the tower's ledge with Emily non-canon.

Whether Emily survives in High Chaos is up to Corvo mostly.
Wait so What is really canon?
If saved games aren't transferable then does that mean that Delilah could return as an enemy?
I've passed the idea of allying with Daud to some of my friends.

SPOILERS

Delilah was killed by Daud to save emily. If delilah was alive, she would have completed the ritual, emily would be possessed by delilah forever, and daud would be dead, preventing the mission flooded disctrict from happening. AKA Brigmore Witches and Knife of Dunwall are required for the story.

I hope Corvo's new voice won't affect his personality that much. Remember what happened to Isaac from Dead Space 1 to Dead Space 2?
It's really subtle so I might be wrong, but I'd like to add that The Clockwork Man doesn't seem to be effected by the time-stop in the trailer.

That could imply that he has the Mark, but too early to tell 100% for sure.

Would explain that house of his, though. If so, it's litteraly magical clockwork.
However the kill was "easy" and emily was in a special mode so she was more effective.
Based on the short trailer, one of the things i noticed (and very much liked) was that they got the Outsider VA to return to the role.

I know it's a small thing really, but i think it bodes well for the game. :)
I hope it will be larger than Dishonored . Sidequests and such.
Wasn't Corvo unable to speak? I thought I heard Granny Rags talk about a boy that was unable to talk and I assumed she was talking about Corvo. Or maybe I read it in a piece of paper near her.

If that's the case I wouldn't be a big fan of Corvo getting a voice. Unless it's well explained why it's changed of course.
Joshualegos, it's been about three years: we're well past the statute of limitations on spoilers.

Corvo clearly can speak and does. You're given options of what to say when Samuel asks if you're ready to set out on or leave a completed mission, and an optional mission requires that Corvo be talking. Dishonored Wiki suggests that he doesn't like talking much, and is a man of few words: he gets straight to the point.

Delilah is doomed regardless of how you eliminate her. Unless they decided she succeeded and Daud failed.
