Where do you see this? I checked Paradox Plaza and didn't see anything. Honestly if they brought the timeline right back to the Migration Period it would be pretty freaking awesome.

Yes, please. Frisii, Franks, Thervingi, Greuthungi, Vandals, Angles, Saxons, Gepids, Suebi, Alemanni and Burgundians and also the Huns and Alans and Avars and Slavs and Bulgars and all of the rest. I think I just had a history nerdgasm. I just recently finished rereading Peter Heather's awesome Empires and Barbarians: The Fall of Rome and the Birth of Europe.
Sadly, this new DLC that they announced is a bit late for that by several centuries. But it still looks interesting enough.
Charlemagne I'm interested in though, and 100 more years is always a good thing.
