playing a 0/8 knight

i decided to get away from necro for awhile and try out knight. Its ok so far lv 20 but no maxed stats and decent armor. only 1 thing , i suck at farming gods with him... any tips?

Only if you suck at dodging. I have fun rolling knights in the godlands. I start soloing gods at lvl 10.

Nope. Meeles are worse than middle and long ranges obviously just by the dodging. And it doesn't come up by the skill or not. You must be an idiot to say it like that. It's just hardest to play melees. So don't act so high.

Its not that hard with knight. Stack gods against a rock, stun through the rock, then run out and stab with sword. Simple, yet slightly challenging. I like it

But I didn't say that it is impossible. I've just said that it's easier to start up 0/8 with a higher range due to bullets dodging. Simply it's easier.

Dodging is skill-based. Melees (excluding paladin) have very high defense, even unpotted. Taking a few bullets isn't that big a deal so long as you don't put yourself in complete shotgun range. Plus it really isn't that hard when you know the god's attack patterns and how to manipulate them. Timing your movements correctly can cause certain gods (Ent, Ghost, Sprite and Slime Gods) to fire in the complete opposite direction. Circling Medusas almost guarantees you safety. Beholders are fairly easy to dodge at all times. Flying Brains are a joke to all melee classes. Clumps of gods can be taken care of with the rock cover strategy. Seems easy enough for me. Did I miss anything?

Easy isn't always as fun. Like I said, its challenging and I like it.

Yup. Still average player might find it better to start 0/8 with a staff class :)

The OP already played necro and has asked for tips on playing knight in the godlands. You won't learn unless you try. Between the thread I linked and the experience I just shared, it should be a good start on the way to becoming more than the average player.
