Kringle Collection.. Help..?

I've seen many many tutorials for this but none seem to be working so I finally came here.
I have two problems,
a ) the regular skin 1 of the Snowcoat has no shading what so ever. i could change the brightness on the SFM camera and it would stay the same thing, like a beacon in the darkness.
b ) when i set it to skin 2 ( blu skin ) it glows BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT pink due to a past tutorial i found here.i think imessed it up i just.. need help..
help me out please..?
