Scout model without the bag?
This is just a quick question, I have seen SFM animations with the scout, where he does nothave his bag, and I'd like to know how.

I know you can't remove it in SFM so it must be a custom model, but where can I find that?

Any help is appreciated.

It is NOT a custom model, rather, it is under the unknown section in the scout's animation set.

At least, that is what I think.

just right click scout, go to body groups and find backpack. turn it off.

You can't move all of it away.

There is noting called backpack in bodygroup.

I believe it's called "pack". That's the HWM model, at least. Not completely sure about the player model.

Right click the scout in the animationset editor, go down to body groups, select pack, and then none.

I believe you need to use the HWM model, the one used for movie making, rather than the player model

The player model doesn't have a bag, shirt, pack, nor backpack bodygroup. Source Filmmaker's tf_movies' HWM Scout model has a pack bodygroup, but that model has clipping issues with many cosmetics.

The player model doesn't have a bag, shirt, pack, nor backpack bodygroup. Source FilmMaker's personal own HWM Scout which clips horribly with (almost) every single cosmetic has a pack bodygroup, but no matter what it's set to, cosmetics still clip horribly with the model.

I have a Scout model based upon the player model, as to not clip with cosmetics, but still with highpoly fingers and HWM flexes, and lots of bodygroups, including a shirt bodygroup where one can take the bag off, and cosmetics still don't clip. However, it's unreleased.
I have not noticed any horrible clipping with scout and cosmetics. And yes, I am using the hwm model.

Try putting on something like the Track Terrorizer, Fast Learner, or Digit Divulger.

I've tried the hwm model, but I don't have the body groups section :S

Though I have yet to try and just move it from the unkown section.

Okay, yep. I get what you mean.
Ok here's how to easily do it :
Add scout model. Go to unkown. Locate bip_packtop and bip_packmiddle.
Then right click them both and click "Add sclae control" for both.
This will create two more things in unknown.
then just drag the slider back all the way.

Is it possible to also remove the belt that holds the bag?

Greetings, fellow necromancer.

Only HWM version of scout model has such bodygroup to remove the whole bag model.
