Thx, kind of a accident, after using the same utility to flip right stick y-axis in ghost recon future soldier I noticed a antideadzone setting and thought 'hey' this might work with dead space, you know its a shame the devs never sorted this game out properly.

This game deserves a proper fix from the devs, just a couple of little tweaks is all its needs.

Time for a dead space marathon soon :)

Excellent! After the blank joypad.txt fix to correct spinning and this fix to correct he deadzone my wireless 360 controller works perfect for DS. Thanks again for this.

Thank you very much for this fix! Playing Dead Space is very enjoyable now.

However, for me at least, setting the Vsync off alone fixed the problem.

It fixed my x-axis, but not y ? it's playable now at least, just a little annoying to look up/down.

Increasing antideadzone might help but do it too much the movement will glitch out and issac will keep moving on his own.

The other way of fixing this is to turn off vsync but this will put stress on your gfx card, syncing the game to 120fps would be ideal if you have a monitor that can do that.
