The game is takes a place in the late 19th century so in these times the guns are didn't have that much amount of smoke maybe that is the reason or this is the way how i can explaim that like some of them has repeaters .

I'm pretty sure that smokeless powder wasn't invented until quite some decades after FOTS timeframe.

Correct, but they are obviously using caplock rifled muskets which didn't have extra powder for the lock to ignite so their wasn't a outward blast that creates smoke except from the barrel.

You obviously haven't been to a civil war reenactment then my friend. One reenactment I went to the smoke hung over the field so thick I actually felt that I was actually watching a real battle. FoTS takes place around or just after the Civil War time period and I've read some accounts where soldiers couldn't see the enemy or allies before them because at times the smoke was so thick.

The French and the German had different types of rifles compared to the US. So did the British. So for each rifle imported to Japan from different nation you would need a different smoke/fire model/effects ;)
