Our map features a public Visitors center with crafting benches, grinder 100% mats return, Ind-forge, blueprint exchange, and pay it forward gear exchange.
We also have in a place a full working economy via a NPC market place and gold exchange for players to wheel and deal on goods and services including player ran shops.
Also featured is our new public mooring harbor and our Saloon.
No base yet? Need to log out in a hurry? no problem, stay at the Flea Inn motel!
No animal yet? Check our adoption area for free mounts and fliers! (viking bay Bridge)

Our goal for this server is a place for a mature crowd to hang out, build, tame and breed without the hassle of long taming times. We offer faster than normal breeding for the mutation minded breeders. We also have packed in the building and decorating mods in order for your over the top building desires. We offer lax building rules (please read the rules) so that you can get creative and have fun. The dino level is high and the player level is low to maintain a dangerous environment for the hunters.

The server is kept up to date and downtime is met with aggressive measures to get everyone playing again with multiple ways of reaching the admins if something should go wonky with the server. We take pride in creating a server environment where the survivors come first.

Castaway Resort is run by a husband and wife team with years of admin experience.
We are tough on rule breakers and helpful to those in need. We are usually a Steam Text, discord or Group message away.
The server is paid up for another 6 months starting Aug 26th 2017
We do wipe every 6 months* (seasons) to keep the server and game-play fresh.
No wipes mid-season. and daily backups to minimize rollbacks .

BH is set to 50% meaning you lose half your levels if you die, so value your life.
But you still keep your tribe,dinos.

1-25x most gather. No berries can be gathers which means you must farm to make them.
20x taming.
Dinos are balanced my additional individual settings
wild dinos are 2x damage.
spawn lev 300
This is a ground game. making it more thrilling.Though gliders wings are sweeet.
Only tamable flyer is Quetz, saddle expensive or lev 100 (it you make it)
Also Use Jurassic Park Expansion dinos to add even more danger. The looks and sounds
of these are so much better but watch out they are fast & furious.
(try punching a parasaur in the face)

PVPVE RULES:

1. PVE Players - Safezone shield for your bases, these can not be destroyed, do not have countdown timer and allies can enter. Decay is 14 days
2. PVP Players - Startzone shields for your base. These have a 5day safe zone which will destroy after 5 days. Also given out after you have been raided.
3. EVERYONE - OIP Shield repels offline raiders but can be damaged. Has a 250k hp and protects after 15min of logging out. Has a 5day decay timer.
