First is if you could cover up all the text in the Captain's Booke with decals, so you can remove them only when you need that number, that would be _fantastic._ When you have to page around in it to find the entry you're looking for while trying not to spoil any other parts (or secretly suspecting all your friends of doing that) it's not the best.
The other thing was making the four starting island maps into separate tiles that sit on top of the board, so that pressing alt to pull up the full view of them actually lets you see their contents, instead of the _entire sea map_.
Both of these are pretty small quality of life things, I can understand them taking a bit of effort though.
As far as the Captain's Booke, that's not a terrible idea, but I don't see myself doing it, at least not anytime soon. Players are going to have to exercise restraint.
This may not apply to every play group out there, but when I played the physical edition, we found it the most convenient to designate a single player to always read from the Captain's Booke unless the entry to be read is supposed to remain secret (which happens later in the game).
2) That's an easy fix. I'll try and fix that this week.
3) Didn't think about that at all, I'll see if I can't add blank backgrounds to them this week.
4) I didn't know if people would prefer decals or tokens since you don't need decals for everything. Having said that, I do like this idea and I may end up switching.
5) Having the 3d box models would be awesome, but sadly that sort of thing is not in my wheelhouse.
6) Criticism. It's constructive and really helpful, so thanks! I honestly have no idea what I'm doing and just scanned a couple of games haha. So this is all a learning experience. The Legacy nature of Seafall is tough for an upload cause you want everything to be right, as to not spoil or mess up player's experiences. So the more I can tweak, improve, or fix before a lot of folks get to playing, the better.
Yeah I have no idea what that is about, but you're not exactly talking to an expert on TTS.
Found out why this was happening. If you lock an item, you can type on it. Otherwise the text box goes to the lowest surface (I.E. the table)
Also, I would like to ask for some notecards listing what enteries in the captain's book are on what page. It's a little annoying going page to page looking for them, when the game is long enough without another minute searching for the right number.
Also had some colony cards go kind of berzerk, having to use a rotation gizmo to flip them, and on one of those the written name has gotten stuck sideways into the table... Suggesting the use of blindfold for the rest when reading Light of Truth would be nice as well (didn't remember that was an option in past games). Good work overall! (And hoping that Marketplace makes it into the next update.)
I honestly wouldn't even know where to begin for scripts of any kind.
Not sure about that bug with the Colony cards, I flipped through them and tossed them around to see if anything was awry, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. When playing various games with my group on tabletop I've noticed that assets will randomly go haywire until I reload the mod, hopefully its just an isolated bug and not something with the mod.
I would like to get the notecards for the Captain's Booke at some point but I've been busy with a lot of other things.
