Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I see any factions on the selection screen?
You are missing a faction pack submod, pick at least one from this list.

Why can't I see all of the factions available with the submod?
If you have too many submods active then the single player faction selection will overflow with available factions and that can't be prevented, nor can a scroll bar be added. Either have less faction submods active at the same time or reduce your UI scaling in the Graphics settings to see all of them, which is especially important if you have this issue in the Multiplayer selection.

Why are there no Victory Conditions for unlocked factions?
Adding these is a very tedious process, which has to be re-done every couple of updates, so I don't always add them in with every update, especially if I expect to push out another update very soon, which will force me to redo them again. Most of the time they will be present, just not always.

Why are there "Ambassador" lords on the diplomacy screen?
Why are there "Ambassador" lords wounded for 999999 turns?
These are a necessary evil as they act as a bugfix for the diplomacy screen. They are removed from the campaign right away, which is why you will see them as wounded characters within most unlocked factions.

Due to modding limitations I cannot edit a certain file which is necessary to be changed for my customizable Legendary Lords to show up correctly on the diplomacy screen, which is why the Ambassadors exist to take their place instead. If I did actually put the Legendary Lords into the diplomacy screen at this point, the map would be full of white squares instead of portraits and the 3D portrait would be messed up as well.

Why does this mod edit balancing instead of just unlocking factions?
The aim of this mod is not to "just unlock" factions, as by default they are not meant to be played and thus there are various bugs, balance advantages towards the playable factions and thelike, so this mod aims to not only make other factions available but also slightly edit the campaign map to make it more equal between all factions and interesting to play every single one of them and thus essentially provide a "Vanilla Enhanced" experience, which many people enjoy.

If you don't like my modifications, you can always use the more Basic version of this mod, which lacks many of the larger modifications to vanilla.

As one example of necessary changes, Kislev by default started with no wars and no significant enemies while owning 4 fully controlled provides, 9 regions and 2 major unique cities which makes it an extreme powerhouse, especially if controlled by the player. This was only balanced in vanilla by having them be a very inactive faction.

I split them up into two playable factions (meaning both players can play Kislev), which are at war with each other, will be usually much more active and are also at war with a Norscan faction, which should create a much more balanced, active and interesting Kislev to play with or have around as NPC faction.
