[B18]TiberiumRim - A Command & Conquer mod
tiberium exposure
Is there a way to reduce it? I just started a game and ran into a few problems in the first few seasons. I wasn't paying attention to my paths and a few of my people have exposure sickness. I haven't progressed far enough into the game to know if proper medical treatment will fix this. Does the exposure go away on its own or do you have to treat it? Or is the exposure untreatable?

exposure will need to be treated with meds, if not you could potentally develop infections which are always fatal unless you cut out or cut off the offending appendage/organ. There's a path mod you can get that will minimize your pawns going into tib infected parts of your map, though it won't prevent pawns from other factions. Only other way of battling expsoure, assimulation and infections (not sure on infections btw) is with special meds produced by the mod and the faction mod. With the faction mod, Nod has Tiberium infusion which makes your pawns immune to the negative effects while GDI has a med that cures poison, exposure and assimulation, can't remember if it does anything with infections.

No, @requiemfang at least read the Table Of Contents before spreading false information.

Tiberium Sickness works like this:

Tiberium Exposure: Above 0.3 Severity => Tiberium Poisoning, treatable, and will slowly get better over time, not lethal. Above 0.7 Severity => Tiberium Assimilation, untreatable, continuously ongoing state with 3 outcomes: Above 0.3 Severity and with a 0.1 Chance: Tiberium Infection: Random body part gets infected and must be amputated or else you're dead. Above 0.5 Severity and with a 0.1 Chance: Tiberium Mutation (Bad) - Gives permanent debuffs Above 0.8 Severity and with a 0.7 Chance: Tiberium Mutation (Good) - Gives permanent buffs Both mutations cause Tiberium Need, pawns need to stand over Tiberium to not go insane and die. They will automatically try to go and seek out Tiberium if their need is low. Note: Tribal people have a higher chance of mutation instead of infection!

None of these are treatable with normal meds, it is only a waste.
TiberBlock and Tiberium Infusions will cure any Tiberium disease.

Exposure is basically harmless and goes away on its own after a while, it can only have follow-up sickness as you can see above.

I've wasted so many meds on Tiberium Poisoning, lol. :(

The price one pays for not doing research first, eh?

Also, is there a way to add a mod setting in the mod manager to reduce/increase the rate of tiberium sickness? My problem is with caravans getting annahilated by it.
