It needs to be something more complex than that. For example:
Engineer:
-30% firing speed
-Cannot speed up the construction of a building
+20% damage
+Can repair buildings in 2 hits
Pyro:
-30% firing speed
+If timed correctly, it can destroy any kind of incoming projectiles, including crit projectiles.

how about instead of destroy projectile, rebound it instead?

How about this:
-20 firing speed
-5% building speed
+25 damage
+3 seconds Mini crits on kill
-10% speed on user
+Damage resistance do explosions
+100 more ammo or metal on user
Thats all I got though.

its too complicated maby remove the minicrits and speed reduction

I'd like it to REMOVE SAPPERS for Pyro, such as the HomeWrecker does plus whatever stats valve adds- but the REMOVEALE OF SAPPERS would be Oh-So-Wonderful for me

Well usually All-class or Specific class weps usually don't have stats

you can hit projectiles and destroy them and take no damage. 40%less damage to players and 20% more damage to buildings. engineers can remove sapper in 1 hit instead of 2 hits. pyro can remove sappers normally. slower firing speed by 30%

Wouldn't be hard to hit projectiles?

i think this: allows pyro to upgrade an engis buildings (like if a pyro hits a engi building it upgrades it by a little?) (maybe even take out sappers or no might make it op) with maybe slower firing speed and a low damage? i mean like

This is a hammer. It could just be a reskin of the homewrecker or powerjack.

for pyro:
pyro can heal buildings with flamethrower ammo (slower than engie himself and can't upgrade.)
pyro can remove sappers in 2 hits (1 hit if it is a random crit)
afterburn lasts longer

25% less flamethrower ammo
10% slower move speed whilst active
50% less afterburn damage

and for engie:
15% increased repair rate of buildings
can remove sappers in 1 hit
10% faster move speed when hauling buildings

25% less pistol ammo (if using wrangler, 25% less turret ammo)
10% slower move speed when active

this would encourage pyro to bunker down in an engie nest because of his low attackive stats with his mele weapon, as much as this seems like almost a direct upgrade from the homewrecker because of healing, this is a terrible weapon to attack with whereas the homewrecker could be used on offensive pyro who also wants to help engie

this would also encourage engineers to be more active with there placements, with faster haul speed it has good synergy with the rescue ranger but to still use the sentry as the main weapon so that the pyro using the Bonnet-buster can help with his repairs.

the afterburs buffs/debuffs where so pyros would use the flamethrower to check for spies and reveal them for longer so they cant sneak away...

Whilst Active: 10% slower movement speed
(Pyro)

faster movement speed whilst hauling



had to alter a stat or 2 but BAM! it now fits :)


crit chance for sapper removal doesnt have to be a listed feature as like a lot of weapons have unlisted features.
since the pyro has a base of 0% repair rate w so making him have a repair rate of 15 after equip, the engineers base repair rate is 20% so by default that makes him faster than pyro so we dont need to list that iether.
doubbling sapper removal rate means engie can remove sappers in 1 but pyros who have a base of 0 (i have rounded this to 1 because anything x 0 = 0) x2 = 2 hits for sapper removal, this lets me add this as 1 stat also.
had to alter to primary ammo so engie looses shotgun ammo instead but ooverall i think thats a better fit. the rest is history!
