FAQ

"Is this mod compatible with ____?"
- Should be, it all depends on the mod you're trying to pair with this one, some mods do extensive rework of core files that just doesn't let any mod other than itself work.

"There's too many/too few ____!"
- Some mods seem to change the spawn rates.
- if you're seeing hundreds, it's something on your end, if you're seeing none, perhaps clear some dinos to make room for them.

"The Dragons are too weak/OP, Please fix!"
Balancing is key in my work, I know this and I try to micro manage stats whenever I can.
However, it all depends on the Dragon; a Lightning Dragon isn't supposed to win against a Fire Dragon every time.
I will however listen and see if I can tweak their stats accordingly, if there is merit to the comments.

"Where do I get _____?/What does ______ do?"
All of these questions are, if not will be, in the Google Docs. if you can't find what you're looking for scroll down or look at the tabs on the bottom of the page. if you still can't find what you're looking for, try looking at comments or discussions. if you still can't find anything, ask. do not ask first and look up never, I will start to direct you to the google docs and nothing but the google docs.

"Please add _____!"
No.
If it's in the Plans tab, I don't need a reminder on what to do.
If your idea is no different than what's planned or already in the mod, or is only slightly different, I.E in name or ability, please stop.
I am going to add things, but I'm not going to add every variant there ever possibly could be.

"Can't find the thing I'm looking for/didn't get help, this mod sucks!"
If you're looking for Info, Google Docs is what I update whenever I have an opportunity to do so, sure it's lacking, but most if not all info is going to be there, wether it relates to Dragons, Armor, Items, Resources or Plans. There's also helpful Discussions and Comments that could answer your questions aswell, if you were to dig a little.

"Make the dragons as strong as the dinos in ____!"
I'm not going to figure out a whole new system just to be able to be on Their level, not for a very long time anyway, since this mod is an extension of ARK, not an extension of Mods for ARK as people seem to believe.
If you want to see something like that sooner rather than later though, feel free to throw me the graphs in full detail and where to put them to make it happen.

More FAQ to come, so keep an eye out for this thread.

I haven't fiddled with levels, so the same as any given map I'd assume.

code spawn please

Are the different sizes in the screenshots age categories, 'elements' or something else? ie. are fire dragons always one size and toxic always another?
How commonly do they spawn?
Can they swim?
Can they pick up dinos?
What is their power level comparable to? Rex? Giga? Something else?
I'm assuming from the names that they have breath weapons, are they based on the dragon boss's or the wyvern's? Based on my experience with another dragon mod and with wyverns, which one their breath weapons are based on would affect how it handles.

The different sizes indicate type.
I'm trying to keep them rare, with the exception of Whelplings being more common, but right now seems they spawn common to uncommonly in areas.
No.
Yes to all except Whelpling.
Depends on the size, for example, Whelplings closely resemble Dodo's and Dilo's while Fire Dragon takes from Rexes and Bronto's, with a little tweaking to make them their own.
Their breaths are a mix, some take more from the Dragon Boss while others take from Wyvern.

They can be tamed with Raw Meat or Raw Prime, Kibble gives the best results though.

Do you have it set so they spawn randomly in? Or a set spawn place?
And would a server admin be able to disable them from spawning but still be able to spawn them in by commands?

And what are the colour regions? :) like the normal boss or different?

They have spawn areas, I guess.
Not unless I make an INI for it...
Each has their own color regions, different markings and such.

Okay it's a pity it could have been really fun to have a dragon who uses his breath of fire from our shoulder

if I add Pygmy's they'll have their breaths for sure, and they'll be shoulder mountable too.
