Can't get wall to flip open.

I must be missing a trigger somewhere. It's obvious you need to push the cube to the button to open up the exit door, but the wall won't flip open so I can place a portal there. Bug perhaps?

There are no flip walls. You have to use gel and the tractor beam. It's a little tricky, but possible.
