Helicopters?
I see helipads all around, but where do the actual helicopters spawn? thx

In the event that you've simply gotten unlucky, if you're playing singleplayer you can turn up the spawn rate for items (which includes vehicles, I think) to 100%. If the helis are indeed on the map, you should see them then.

I run my own private server on this map and we havent been able to find any helicopters or planes yet?
