Playlist Problems?
***For Pogch reported problems with the playlist**

@Pogch ..Right now I can't seem to reproduce the problem. One thing confused me tho.. "1 minute between wallpapers(same in Personal Playlist settings) and a random WE's playlist timer to 1 minute too? Or am I understanding that wrong?



What I have tested so far was a playlist of 3 wallpapers, using the settings you mentioned ( on timer, 1minute, random, nothing checked )

1. wallpaper the slideshow ( though using default settings of 10second interval )
2. other audio/web wallpaper
3. a video wallpaper

When applying the playlist it does change every minute as you would expect from WE's playlist, amd this slideshow wallpaper specifically changes arround every 10 seconds ( based on default settings )

Any idea what I could change in that setup to reproduce your problems? If I can reproduce the problem I can hopefully isolate it and if there is a bug and either fix it or search help from WE's devs .

I believe I have figured it out. There were some wallpapers set to a slideshow in my Windows, which I have completely forgotten of. I changed it and now the playlist seems to work perfectly, I'm sorry for wasting your time on this.
I don't now if I should write about it in the main thread or this is okay, but now I'm getting the sign "Use the settings panel to select a directory of images to display" on a black screen just before an image appears. I have seen someone reporting it before and you saying that it will be fixed, is it so?

Nice that it's solved :)

Also no need to post in the main tread as I am aware of it now :) Checked it out and might have a fix already but have to test it first. Looks like I reintroduced the problem after I had to restructure some things to patch another bug a while back.

Hiiiiii OwO/ I love your slide show *,* however I wanted to ask if there is a way to add gifs? as in I tried to put in a folder for testing a gif and a normal image and it won't slide between them :c am I messing up something or can I do that? Ouo if not its all good XD I love it anyway but I wanted to ask QwQ

Gif's should work .. But be careful as these days they call short videos GIF's too. It has to be an actual gif file.

I have an issue where i have two slideshows in the same playlist with different presets but they don't work. If i set the preset in the wallpaper settings, it seems to overwrite any presets in the playlist. So in playlists i have two different presets, but only one works.

My guess would be that the wallpaper can only have settings set once. So adding it to the playlist does not save the settings to the playlist as well. As a result adding it twice will just use the same settings both times.

If you would like to use the wallpaper with different settings you might want to duplicate the project/wallpaper folder from the drive. If you are browsing the wallpapers and right click on this one, you should get some "explore" option to jump to the files on the drives. Then go up one folder and copy the folder itself and copy into ..../Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine\projects\myprojects/ .

Doing that will give you the wallpaper twice, each with its own settings.
