Revivng the mod
Note for everyone who wants to play this mod now: newer versions of Various Mod Components DLL can not work correctly with this mod and cause many issues (not working AOE damage, promotion bugs, game crashes). I recommend using v.88 version of the DLL, you can get it in 2 ways:

1) Follow this link and download the DLL:

2) Use the Wayback machine on this website and download it from there:
https://www.picknmixmods.com/mods/CivV/DLL/Various%20Mod%20Components.html#

Put the file in ~/Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS and that's it.

Many thanks to whoward69, developer of the original DLL, for his help in obtaining the previous versions of it.

By the way, there's an updated version of the mod (still has many problems but definitely worth checking out, especially for its multiplayer capabilities), you can find it here:
