FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I trigger these Animations?
A: Use the Ace Self Interaction menu, binded on CTRL+Windows Key if not changed.

Q: Are these Animations Multiplayer Compatible?
A: Yes, they are. Some of them can even be seen by others who don't have the MOD (all except for the static animations and some dancing animations)

Q: Why are the Dance Animations not working?
A: Holster your Weapon by pressing "0" and try again.

1. I enjoi the ace 3 extension.. does it mean now no more support and no more ACE 3 extension from your site :(

Stand alone is not bad as well, but there is already this problem..:

near to every second mod use own UID and menu ... more problems for every one to make the mods work flawless togther.. One Server and 10 different Menu cuz each mod ist stand alone.. i like the ACE menu, would be nice to have updates on this mod too, not only going for SA version.
Ace runs on most beauty veteran server.. not the simple ones. So i understand the needs but also what is about all the people enjoining ACE3 Extensions with ACE?

2. Thank you very much for this great mods! Nice to see you still working on.

PS: sadly to see so many great moding groups and moder making such great ARMA but cuz not working together, we all get more problems to use different mods on one mission. If every one would go for own core cuz more easy or cuz of name and money, this would kill arma..

Hey, thanks for your feedback. This mod will probably not updated on ACE anymore, I understand your point, but there's not really a workaround thing. I will leave this mod here and upload the SA version separately.

I'm doing my best to make this mod compatible with all other mods that have custom GUI elements. I already have a good idea on how to.
There sadly no open source GUI released by anyone, so I can't take it as core mod. But what I could do is, release my GUI so other could build upon it if they want to.

The current plans on the design are very basic. It will most likely similar to the Gun-Switching-Wheel in GTA 5.
There is enough space to have different categories with descriptions and pictures and subcategories which will have descriptions and pictures etc as well.

This sounds great! I hope only Ace not gonna be updatet anymore in a way, ace3ext. would brake. cuz i have search very long time for dance animations from A2 and it seems a biiig job to import them from A2. After i have found your ace3extansions, i was like little kid getting Christmass gifts xD right after it, i read your last post about no more support _-_

Well anyway it working all very good for me in my eden editor, i just hope it stays, since arma3 do not get any major updates anymore.

As i have read you are also doing and helping on more projekts, i have addet you, so dont be suprised please for random add.

Arma does get a few updates, the Tac Ops and TANK DLC and there will be more content over the next years by 3rd party developers which will release official DLCs published by Bohemia Interactive. So there is still some stuff to come. And Ace will update as well, I will try to maintain this mod so its working and once the Ace mod and Arma are basically done, I will try to make a final version of the Ace extension as well. But it's still a long way to go.

Updates will probably released first on the SA version and the Ace version will be patched later on.

It's no bug, this error message doesn't affect anything, just ignore it.
That's why I haven't fixed it yet, I will most likely fix it when the new standalone comes out.

The animations are quite well done. However, I'd like to apply some of them, like the slav squat and dances, to civilian AI in a mission I'm currently working on, as this mission is set in russia and the civilian 'gopnik party' is supposed to be some sort of easter egg.

Are these compatible with the AI; and if yes, what are the animation names?

Start your game with this mod, go to the Animation Viewer and find the classnames. Easy as that

How can i open the Interaction menu?
Hello how do i loop your animations since it's a bit different from the kata animation with this disable ai anim code it doesn't work.

Hey quick question, is there a way to bind any of these animations to hotkeys. I want to bind the Aircraft Carrier ones to hot keys, because i think they are super neat, and i use them alot in the milsim unit I'm in.

If you stand at attention, can others see it without the mod? It's technically not under static animations, while still being a static animation.

Nope, only the Relax Poses and Carrier Anims, also the scared animation work this way since they are in vanilla arma 3.
The Attention poses are custom animations, so others won't be able to see it without the mod.

I did some research about this and it's because of the actions variable in KKA3_ACE_Extension_Anim_dire, it shouldn't be null neither empty, as far as I know actions defines the class or group to which that animation belongs, "NoActions" can be used instead, you can take a look into /config/sdr/config.bin in the {Arma 3 folder}/Addons/anim_f.pbo to look for some examples. Hopefully this can be useful to suppress that warning entry.
