By the way, I've noticed Deep Ones and Mi-Go both using drop pods. Is this an oversight, or is it not possible to remove this from the code for Raids?
Also, have you considered using the Moon-beasts and Men of Leng as factions?
I just fixed that for 1.3 (the upcoming Dark Young update). Thanks for letting me know. I found out that in the code it checks their apparent tech levels, and at the time of writing the mod the first time, I didn't know how the game worked very well with its C# code.
@Agent Pumpkin: That would be scary, for sure.
Love the ideas guys. Keep em coming.
Perhaps from time to time, a rift in the ground can form, and could function akin to insectoid hives. For a name it could be called "Gateway to Zin", which would reference the Vaults of Zin; "Fissure of Pnath", referencing the bone-ladden Vale of Pnath; a "Dholehole", blending wormhole with the monstrous burrowing Dholes, implying one tunneled to the surface. Whatever the name, this place could serve to spawn various monstrous beasts of the underworld, such as the vicious Ghasts or giant Gugs (not together, of course, less they were battling one another). Ghouls could also spawn from these, since they also exist in the Underworld along with the previously mentioned creatures.

I should have it done (proper categories) before the end of the week, though. Sorry it's so confusing right now from the duplicate definitions.
For the sake of compatibility, please dont change core mechanics (as suggested here). Or if you do, put that into a separate mod. Else there will be tears ... Thank you :)
On that note, I think it might be neat to throw in perhaps more beneficial (sort of) items such as spellbooks and technology. Of course, trying to use and understand such incomprehensibly strange items could have lasting effects on something so puny as a human...
Oh, and great race of yith body swapping would be really neat... A sign of coming visitors, malicious or not...
And, just one more, would it be possible to add something akin to the invisible temple from The Walls of Eryx? Something for players to panic over because they can't get their colonist out of it as they slowly lose sanity with each passing day...
And, forgive me about asking yet another, what about those giant albino penguins in the arctic?
(Sorry if I seem like I'm being an obnoxious prick... I have no rimworld modding experience and probably lack the brain cells to do these myself. I'm just a big fan of what you're doing, you know?)
I love this stuff.
We've got a discord channel going where I'm posting updates and chatting with contributors if you're interested.
