[MAJOR BUG] Items getting deleted
Doubleclicking on an item in the transmatter terminal if it is in a transmatter drive will take out all of that item but delete everything else in that drive. I can provide any info you need to figure out what is causing this. I am not too broken up about this because its a WIP mod and stuff goes bad sometimes, but I did wipe out a bunch of my crafting materials and dont want anyone to put something important in their drives until this is fixed.

Running on windows, Frackin Universe and all other mods are through the steam workshop. I can try to test it more thoroughly if you cant replicate it yourself.

I've had this happen myself. It maaaay be caused by double-clicking on a sorted window.

I have double-clicked on items in the terminal before and nothig odd happened(no filters) (although it takes a second to load on game start.)

Did some testing, looked up wood took out wood platforms (and other blocks) (double clicked) and the rest of the drive was fine. I do have Frackin' Univerce and many other mods.

Weird, I'll have to do some testing when I have some time.

All of my items got deleted by the storage. I had 1000 moondust in there and clicked on the 1000 button to take it out. It hasn't caused any problems since then no matter how I fiddle with it, so I can't figure out how it happened.

What I can tell so far is that if you're using a single drive in the drive bay, the items won't delete {at least they haven't for me}. I tried fiddling with different combinations of multiple drives in an attempt to pin down the cause, but no luck so far.

I just wanted to update this thread in case others make the mistake of not looking at the comments as well.

It definitely seems this bug is tied to pulling out a full stack of anything from the drive (0 items of that type left). I haven't done any testing, but check out the comments. I had a drive wipe happen when I pulled out 1 stack of snowballs (~200 something snowballs).

RIP my drives, jesus fix that please.

Yup this has been going on for a few MONTHS. I only ever notice it when I go to get something I KNOW is in there and it's gone. Not even sure how much I've lost because of it.
Here's even proof of it. I'm using 2 256k storage drives, 1 set to filter "@Blocks" and the other set to filter "@Crafting Material"
Before I took everything out:

After I took everything out and put it all right back in:

Notice how all of the blocks are missing? It isn't only blocks that disappear. I don't know what causes it exactly but I've had everything from blocks to food disappear on me.

This seems to only happen with the storage banks though. If you use an actual crate with a storage bus on it it seems to be fine

Yep, I just nuked eveything by double clicking an ore out of a sorted terminal window. I only had one drive in the storage unit, it was around 55k out of 65k and now its at 0. Love the idea of the mod, but that is a huge problem. I completely missed this thread when i was setting everything up. It hurts, but luckily its just a game. Still better than the item network that comes standard in FU. Time to go dig up more planets.

So I guess we can't withdraw a full stack of item or else the drive gets deleted ? Or does it happen at random ?

EDIT : After some testing with a couple of different blocks, it seems like it can happen at random, maybe when the drive has a lot of different items... At least it didn't wipe everything when I had only 3 or 4.

Yeap, got his by this bug a few times. Seems to hit the first drive in a drive bay though I haven't done any tests to see if a sacrificial first drive is a valid workaround. This can affect drives that did not have items being pushed/pulled into them as I've been able to reload a save and have a drive get nuked.

Digging around the lua, what is the purpose of this line?
