Germany doesn't declare war on the U.S.S.R
When i play as germany in the new version of: Europe 1939-1945 germany dont declare war on the U.S.S.R? Im now in 1943 and im still allies with them. I've checked the internet because maybe it was too early in the game, but internet says that germany declared war on the U.S.S.R in 06-22-1941. In my game it is 1943. So i just can't declare war on them because I have set on 'Alternate History'. I had just conquared almost everything in england :(

Never had this reported before, what happened (war and diplomatically) before 1941 on your game ?

I was just playing. Everything was fine. Conquered france,poland,greece,yugoslavia,denmark,norway and almost england. So i just conquered everything and was waiting for the attack on U.S.S.R. So it was 1942 and still they didn't declare war on them. I was checking internet for the date of the declaration of war from germany on the U.S.S.R. it was in real life on 06-22-1941. But it is now 1943 and im still at peace with the U.S.S.R. Maybe is there an option to go in the R.E.D WWII files and set off the alternate history? Or is it not possible to change files when you are already in game with that faction? if its possible the game will allow you to declare war on factions earlier/later or on factions that were neutral in the real WWII. I hope this is enough to tell you. and its weird that i just have this bug...

And when is the new version coming? Waiting for the map World 1936-1945 :steamhappy:

I'd like your Lua.log after a few turns in your current game, seems the diplomatic events have broken at some point.

You've conquered both France and U.K before mid-1941 ?

yeah yeah. Just only belfast en glasgow and thats it. also conquered cairo and alexandria with help of italy. i just let malta and nicosia under british rule. These cities are not valuable for me to risk troops,tanks,planes or ships for it. Its on difficulty 6. (dont know the name). But its very sad that the diplomacy has been broken. Sad.... I was just on the good way with germany.

And again: Can you tell me/us when the new version is coming out. Just a prediction?!?

No ETA for next version. At current rate not before 2016 for release, maybe alpha before the end of the year.

About your issue, I'd really like the log, but here is a workaround anyway:

open RedDefinesGlobal.lua in the mod's folder (..\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\R.E.D. WWII Edition v.xx/Lua)

find
USE_CUSTOM_OPTION = true

change to
USE_CUSTOM_OPTION = false

save load game, you should be able to declare war manually to USSR

Haha another bug. I just won the game by capturing 9 cities? but i need 13 hahahaha.

But i have declared war on stalin! it works THANKS!
