First of all, I'd like to say, spectacular mod, but I've been having a small issue. For some reason after enabling this mod, the background bars for the fleets have dissappeared, for both military and civilians, leaving only the fleet strength, faction symbol, fleet type symbol, and the shield + HP bars.

I'd only gone through about 5 years in the campaign before initially enabling the mod, and have been playing the game on a Mac, if either of those help.

It's not a big issue, but I figured I'd let you know, thanks for any help you can give.

Thank you! This mod changes the look of the fleet selection buttons to reduce clutter caused by civilians. I basically just moved stuff around and made the button invisible but still clickable. All required information (MP, shields, health) are still there. Are you having issues clicking on a fleet?
Watercrown123 Aug 11, 2016 @ 8:42pm
Ah, ok, thanks. I can still click on the fleets easily, I just didn't realize that you had made the buttons clear on purpose.

Nice mod as always, i really appreciate the content you make for stellaris, however, i ran into some trouble with your newest mod.
I played with this mod only once, in a 800 star galaxy in the endgame, however, everything started to cluster really bad, even with your recommendations for bigger galaxies.
Even after i disabled the mod and even unsubscribed, all of the models could still be seen in the game, just frozen doing nothing and being shown as little boxes with X Y Z on them

This is how it turned out to look and really annoys me because i already get freezes all the time and it feels they increased with the mod.
i hope you can take a look into this

Are you using the latest version? There was a bug with interstellar fleets that I just fixed. However, you have to clear the old fleets by turning the civilian density off first (under Empire Policies), then waiting a year or so. Try turning the mod back on and then turning density to off. However, you need to do this in a save game from before you removed the mod.

Oh, and sorry for that bug ruining your game! It can still be salvaged if you have earlier saves though.

Im subscribed and I cant get it to appear under my list of mods to activate. Any advice?

You might be stuck on the older version. There's a currently a bug with mod loading because they changed the directory workshop mods are stored in. To fix it, go to documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod, look for the file 741194923.mod (make sure there isn't a ugc_ infront) and delete it. You can basically delete all the downloaded .mod files that don't have ugc_ infront. Then, try to sub/unsub from this mod again to ensure it downloads properly.

You should see a ugc_741194923.mod file if you're subscribed and it downloaded properly. Otherwise you might have to wait a few mins and start/close Stellaris a few times to get it to download.

I'm really exited to use this mod but I can't make it work. Basically the game launcher crashes at 60% even if I'm loading only this one mod. You're other mods (the IBS graphic mod e.g.) make my launcher crash at 48% or 49%. Do you have any suggestions for a struggling newbie?

from crash report [20:59:12][virtualfilesystem_physfs.cpp:1086]: Could not open file: shadercache/dx9/ps_3_0/000000008398000021407E4D.scache, error
Ankain  [developer] Aug 14, 2016 @ 8:00pm
The crash report sounds like there's a read error on your drive. It should not be caused by the mod. Try moving all the contents of the shadercache (in documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/) out of the directory and let the game rebuild the cache. It will slow down your game for a bit but should be fine once the shaders are recompiled.

I have found my issue causing massive vassal negative opinion due to relative empire strength.
It looks like the relative empire strength is counting this mod's civilian fleets + vassal fleets vs your military fleets, thus causing a huge negative opinion modifer.
When I was testing mods to see what was causing this I disabled this mod and the game autosaved. Without me noticing it broke all the civilain fleets. When I reloaded with different mods active the negative modifer changed from -450ish to -16
I didnt understand why until I reloaded an earlier save with the mod active with the civilians working that I saw the massive negative relative empire strength opinion modifier appear again.

TL:DR Civilian fleets are being counted against you as vassals and reflected in the Relative empire strength modifier.
Ankain  [developer] Aug 16, 2016 @ 6:01pm
Can you post a screenshot? The civilian countries are in no way related to you. This mod is also cosmetic only and does not have any negative opinion modifiers. You're mixing this up with another mod.
