Can't access great work slots? Also bug with Sept yields
Hi. I'm running on BNW, the only other mod running is InfoAddict. There's some odd bug not letting me use my great work of arts slot. I have a great artist but can only use him for golden ages, despite having supposedly 3 empty slots in the Palace plus like 7 Septs. Septs themselves seem bugged, not sure if that's causing the overall issue. When picking the religion it says Sept of Faith are 3 culture 1 hap 1 faith + a "singer" slot or something like that? But then when I go to a city what I can buy is a "Sept" with only +1 of each yield and a great work of art slot.

When I go to my culture screen to see great works, only one City shows up (fishing village, started as Iron Islands) with slots that look filled (but can't be interacted with) for National Epic, Heroic Epic, and Royal Library even though I've only ever built the National Epic. None of my other 6 cities, including my capital are visible at all on the list. Though sorting by highest culture or city name does cause my other cities to appear instead of Fishing village, but still only one city total is ever visible.

I've tried reloading the game and save but it does not help. Any ideas how to fix this? :/

Also tried restarting the game and loading only this mod, issue is still the same. If it makes a difference, I'm playing Iron Islands Immortal Epic speed on the westeros+essos map with Epic in the title. Also I did build the Red keep in my capital, that seems to be the only great work I can interact with in any way, and that's only to view it from the City management screen. (I have also tried the great artist in two different cities, though that doesn't make any difference in the vanilla game).

Reread mod description and tried with the "recommended" Dynamic Culture Overview mod, and this seems to have fixed my issue. I'd say if you're trying for any sort of Culture Victory or just trying to apply idology pressure, that mod is probably required.

Unfortunately.. it seems this combination might have some flaws and my game crashed when I tried to alt-tab about an hour after my last save.. Q.Q
Oh.. turns out I did have an autosave. Lost a few turns but not all that progress.

Another bug: Game crashes to desktop when you take War Volunteers tenet from the Freedom tree (tier 2). It's done it 3 times in a row now, 3rd time I even went through and removed all active specialists before taking the policy.

Hey, thanks for the time you've taken to write these bugs and for continuing to try and find fixes and work arounds. Unfortunatelly I don't seem to get notifications for new discussion pages, so sorry for taking so long with a response.

Regarding the great works thing, the only way I've found to see and interact with them is through the Dynamic Culture Overview mod, and even that doesn't solve all the problems, but it's the only way to actuallt go for culture victory.

As for the Social policy thing... yeah sometimes that happens... haven't a clue what to do about that, especially since the deciding factor happens when you first start the run. If you load in properly when you start, you shouldn't see any problems, if something doesn't load, it might take hours before you come upon it, and at that point just reloading the save doesn't do anything.

Hey no worries, I ended up downloading that mod to be able to use great work slots, and chose a different policy (didn't manage to fix that). It's been a while, but if I remember correctly trying to choose that policy would immediately crash the game for me--it wouldn't continue the turn at all. And I only encountered that issue with that specific policy (War Volunteers in Freedom). Everything else seemed to work pretty well.

Other than those issues I mentioned the mod was pretty enjoyable to play. Thanks.
