i pointing my weapon at it(?), didn't work then my character thought the gurgler must be hungry.

then i tried feeding it grand fish but every time i keep trying to feed it by pressing option 1 it keeps looping the dialogue until i press 2 to walk away. tried this more than once...

i then also tried feeding the damn bugger some dried fish but the scoundrel thinks it's disgusting.
wth am i doing wrong? i haven't tried thinfish though.
