Misc. MAI
AI Assembler issue
I've just started to get this issue - where I attempt to start producing MAIs, and the assembler just stops at 350 Silver and an arbritrary amount of Steel, and wouldn't progress.

I've even tried to restart production and even though all 350 Silver is in the assembler, any Colonist or existing MAI just decides to try and dump more Silver into the assembler and resume whatever work they were doing, expecting an inactive MAI to be produced for later use.
The same issue arrives when I rebuild the assembler, reinstall the assembler to another location, or simply debug-destroy the assembler and replace it. This simply results in a waste of time.

Am I really the only person experiencing it, since there wasn't a discussion about the issue?

Hmm, I'm unsure what might be the problem there. Most likely one other mod conflicts with it, but it can only be something that changes storages I think, as the storage is used to 'haul' the needed material.. But I have no idea what it might be and haven't heared of it yet.

I have the same problem, sitting at 304/350 Silver and 293/500 Steel..
If anybody ever found it out, please let me know. Sucks that I can't activate it :(
Quick note: To anyone with this issue, I have actually discovered a temporary hotfix. If you take a colonist and restrict them to a zone with ONLY the Machine and your stockpile of ONLY steel or whatever you need, then they will function properly (For me anyways, obviously unknown for everyone else)

It seems like the priority of the hauling job is either not high enough, or equal to some storage zones. When restricting a colonist to just a stockpile and the machine, sometimes they would haul and sometimes not. But, when I reduced the priority of the source stockpile, the colonist began hauling to the assembler

i seem to be having the same issue right now except with steel if i lock a pawn in the room they will shove all the steel in the room into the assembler to the point that its spitting out on top but act like the silver isnt even there

Ive tried using industrial rollers to auto input but thats not possible....
If it was a bill to assemble the bot then i could try using rimfactory as a replacement for the assembler but thats not a thing...
Ive tried reconstructing, reinstalling, Dev mode replacing, even placing in different locations...
I havent yet tried to see if making an android from the android mod to see if maybe they can haul the stuff....

As far as storage related mods im using stack specific mods like haul to stack and stack merger.
Rimfactory also has its own storage units. Looks like those just allow items to be stacked on each other from what i can see.
