- specialisation of these mgastructures. For example, if a ringhabitats you just finished building happen to be close to your planet and it is in good defence position. Why not further specialise into military use?
- specialisations I can now think of in my little brain:
* Millitary (with offence/defence ability, maybe link to or not link to events?),
* Economic (Trading ports - boost minerals and maybe influence),
* Diplomatic (this can link to series of designed events to gradually make it accumalate influence),
* Science/ Research facility (like those installation in Halo, not purely used for habitatm but also research facilities. This can be typically generate one of three kinds of science for player. Or make you have alien pets?)
* Species preservation (get you alien pets?)
* Black market (next tier of specialisation from trading post, has penalty to sector income but grants extra strategic resources?)
- these specialisations should all be once and only chance, if you choose a specialisation, it cannot be reverted back. maybe also limited to one copy of a type per empire?
- these specialisations all come with relatively high cost for dire need, added a variant of less building time but far less profitable?
and many many other little things in my mind ~ depends on how Nutsoman sama would like to develop this mod further.
is the Habitat supposed to look like this on the inside? i thought it used to have the earthly? segments before

I'm not saying just add the Star Forge, but perhaps something equivalent to that mechanic. It's certainly a Megastructure.
what I'm thinking about is creating a stargate-like structure that, once activated, creates a permanent link to it's counterpart (maybe by naming it and the other one the same). if you move a ship in orbit, it gets instantly transported to the other end.
I'd say only one is possible at a give time, otherwise your ship take damage in the transfer.
Pros: Instant-travel to any linked station in the galaxy
cons: Can only be built next to a black hole, enemies can hack it and use it and it's costly to repair
Then there is another idea that is a way to turn a habitat into a shipbuilding yard to make building fleets go by faster
You would need All AI Research completed, then you have to build 4 QAI buildings in a square with one tile space inbetween. These QUI builldings give 2 adjancency bonus on research. The tiles inbetween have to be 2 Physics and 2 Engeneering Research buildings, the last building would be in the center which then generates +10 Research of each type.
Backgroundstory:
You have managed to build and imprison succesfully an AI which was already sprialling towards Transcendence.
Negativ Effec:
-10% Happiness on all your robot pops in your empire
Therefor i would suggest the following.
Have Space Elevators only on biospheres with water.
When you look at how here on earth such Elevators would be used, there is one schematic poping up again and again, that they would be installed on water due to the flexibility included.
Now that would have 3 biomes Ocean, Continental and Tropical which could use Space Elevators, which kind of would then be unfair to the remaining biomes which could not use them.
Therefor i would suggest to have another 2 Megastructures especially then for the otehr 2 by 3 biomes.
Dry Biomes Desert/Arid/Savana get Solar Mirrows, which send Solar Energy bundled to a recieving station on ground, creating massive ammounts of nergy.
For Alpine/Artik/Tundra a special type of research station, which decreases in research output, the more people are on such planet, which would then lean towards small worlds with lots of tileblockers still intact and just such a research station and only few otehr installations.
