Slash not working correctly after uninstalling mod
I downloaded this mod and started playing a new campaign with it a few days ago but decided it isn't for me. I unsubscribed from it, deleted my saves that had been made while I had the mod installed, and started a new campaign. Everything has gone back to normal except for the default Ranger ability, Slash, which seems to have retained part of Fleche's functionality. On some targets the stated damage range is 3-5 (the normal default) but on others it goes up to 6-8. I can't figure out the rhyme or reason as to why the damage is boosted on certain targets (it doesn't seem to correspond to distance like with Fleche). I reinstalled XCOM 2, figuring that would fix everything, and started a new campaign, but the problem persists. Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone advise me how I can fix it?

The only other mods I've been using are the Long War SMG Pack and the Capnbubs accessories pack.

remove the config files of all your mods, see if that fixes it.

Those targets aren't all Sectoids, are they? In vanilla, Sectoids take exactly 3 extra damage from melee attacks.

they do? Oooh ... that might be it. Man, how did I get through almost 200 hours of this game without ever realizing that was the case?
