There are about 6 Tek Rock Drakes on the map. Find 1, kill it and you learn the Tek Rock Drake Saddle and also get 1. Just a small Thank You for all yoour love and support on a special day. :)

(BUT since i lost almost 3 days because of cooking the test branch, i didn't had time to do a test. I forgot to lock it again, so use it at your own risk. Your game and maybe server might crash or hang after killing the end boss. If so restart your game, but most likely your char is dead, but the kill of the end boss still counts. If the server has a weird day light color, just ask the server admin to change the day time. It should fix it. I'm really sorry about that, but the time was not with me this time.)

This will be only a bugfix and optimization patch, nothing new will be added. Also i can't avoid that this will be another big download.
- Using the vanilla landscape material for ocean ground and most of the caves, insted of my own all in 1 material. This could help about the texture loading.
- Optimized the ground clutter for the redwood biome
- Changed back the battle music to it was before until i can solve the volume issue
- Further work on the lighting system to solve the shadow issue (will see how it works now)
- Added the Thylacoleo manually to the Redwood custom spawner. They will handle like a vanilla dino not a custom dino.
- A few map fixes here and there

(Entire map is covered in snow, but no nsowy tress, bushes and rocks. Becasue the devs would not change the foliage for custom maps anymore like the halloween trees. Maybe there will be a update in a few days about that, but don't count on it. Sorry

The reason, after fixing the weather system yesterday and all the work behind that. I've decided to remove the unfinished sandstorm. I don't want another unfinished thing on the map and to change it how i want i not a easy and fast task. So i would not have a ETA for that till other stuff needs to be done first. If other things are done means all the content i want to bring in in the first place, the i will work on that.I hope you understand my decision.

After downloading the update, please delete the map folder

(folder is called "715028562" in your mod folder)

so ARK can install a complete new version of the map, because i've deleded some unnecessary files. Also do a wild dino wipe so the new spawns are active.


- Added Electrical and Sandstorm(Sandstorm is Phase 1/2 is without particles right now and not setup for each diffetent zone(Snow, Desert and Grassarea) would be take longer to release the map update, so i hope you give me the current state of the sandstorm, also removed the ability to get sand during the sandstorm, because of the upcoming setup for snow biome and grasland)
- Added Jerboa alert function for rain, heat/cold wave, electrical and sandstorm
- Added ocean underwater details (Phase 1/2)
- Another work on beaches and river shores (Phase 1/2, they are less steep, but some of them are intended)
- Complete re-work of the ocean dino spawns
- Complete re-work of the land dino spawns (mybe not the last :) more vanilla, less custom(baby) spawns, but a higher chance of babys per custom spawn)
- Changed the mesh of the deep sea loot crates and locations more recognizable
- Removed Alpha Packs spawns (they were not intended), but for all the Alpha Dino Pack Lovers i've created this for you ;)

- Changed collision on the big rocks in the ocean and big rock on the north west island, so you can build on it.

- Reduced the count of the big trees in the snow biome, for a bit better performance

* Added Halloween Wyvern (5 in total, Skeleton, Fire, Poison and Lightning Zombie) If you kill one of them you get the costume
* Added ZombieDodo (if you kill it, you get the Giga Bone Costume)

Ok things that need fixing soon....Next update would be great..

You need to place a few Metal,Oil,Pearls,Obsidian & crystal around the place cos theres non, Ive spawned at each of the points & on foot I cant collect any except for hitting rocks for the odd bit of metal which sucks...

Water is messed up....(as you know)

Ive spawned at 15 - 10 top west of map & theres NO resources at all & its an Island so unless you have a flying dino again you can progress at any speed...

TRIKE spawns (HOLY COW) theres hundreds & hundreds of them on every part of the map.... Theres NO Carbons at all.... Ive seen 4 in 7 hours of play

Ive been trying to get Chitin & ive managed 15 in 5 hours lol..... thats mainly from Trikes, NO Scorpions at all where i am or anywhere else that ive seen....

Well you need to work for the stuff, not everything is infront of your house. I will add more oil and pearls in the big rivers. Scorpions are on mountians and in the desert. About the dino spawns they will be final fixed later and the lakes i'm still working on it, but will not be fixed in the update tomorrow. I will do all the stuff right and not fix the same stuff over and over again. Be patience ;)

Well there are already 3 medium - big metal, obsidian and crystal spot(volcano, blue obelisk and on the west mountain). oil and pearls are in the snow biome and in the middle east and weast ocean and in the bay areas of the dester/swamp and west coast. So for now there is already quite enough. but as i said more resource spots are coming tomorrow.

Ive never used the Unreal engine, Used others as I use to build levels for HalfLife many many years ago lol...... Anyway This (collision) thing could that be what caused the strange getting stuck inside rocks when hit by a dino ? Just a thought....

No, all rocks are set to collision BlockAll or Ground, means everything will blocked. But it looks like that this is a game bug, maybe a netcode issue.
