Nearest Metal Source From The West Coast?

Hi Guys.
I started building my base at the west coast. I am at the point where i need metal, but i have no rideable mount which can get me far enough up to the volcano.
Does anyone know, where the nearest spawn is?
I dont mind if it is a small one, i have very low respawning time on ressources.
