Misc 2 Lines not working
i set my character, and i try doing the misc 2 lines. it doesnt work, and actually ALOT of lines dont work. it worked like once but the other times i was playing it just didnt play. im on a official dedicated server, but my friend is using the lines with no problem... i know this question is asked often but i just wanna have fun with my friend

  1. Verify the integrity of game's files in Steam.
  2. Check if you have some add-on(s) which could make you problems (eg. modified talker) and which your friend doesn't have.
  3. All voice lines in Miscellaneous 2 menu will work only for L4D2 characters.

done first step nothing changed, done second step nothing changed, third step doesnt really tell me anything to fix it

Regarding third step... L4D1 characters can't use "Alarm", "Whoa", "Health kit" and "Name" because only L4D2 characters have those lines. There's nothing you can do to "fix" it.
