When I connect any of the components to my water pipe system, I get a System.NullReferenceException in an error window that repeatedly shows up. Is that a coding issue, or could I be missing a dependency?

Edit:
Right, I'm a moron. It helps to turn the mod ON before using its components. :-)

Great mod, loving it so far.

@marc.baas interesting I didn't think they would even show up if you didn't have Rainfall enabled. I wish the game had a way to handle dependencies better. Or if I could include the assets and the mod as a set.

True, that is odd. I did not think much of it at first, but now that you mention it, one would expect the items from your mod not to show unless the mod is turned on.
My guess would be that they show up since they have been turned on as an asset maybe?

You're correct. The Assets use a custom AI that is included in the mod. You got a null reference error because it couldnt find the Storm Drain AI when you tried to place one.

Every single districts has its own bassins or outlet(and a lot of inlets of course) But I still see the "transit linen ot connected" notifications

@DeLeeuw check your log file. If it is complaining about not being able to find ARIS overwatch then you need to disable any of those mods. They aren't working anyhow.

@Comedianf That is not an error. If you had put an outlet in the same district as those inlets then they would transmit water to that outlet. This is a from the main description of the mod
"Storm Drain Inlets and Pumps direct any storm water that is collected to Underground Detention Basins within the same district first, and then to Gravity Storm Drain Outlets and SD Force Main Outlets in the same district once the Detention Basins have reached 80% filled. Anything not included in a district is actually in District 0."

I had a sewage system that worked flawlessly, so I didn't change it. An hour later, no changes were made, it stopped working completely randomly and the drains and pumps said that there wasn't transport lines connected..? I made no changes to the sewage system area at all so I'm not sure how this makes any sense at all?

@|XG| Classic 1969 did you reload your map without returning to the main menu?

I might have just found a bug with Rainfall+ND. I have Rush Hour installed as well, and the current storm has been going more than a day in RH time. I also have an active Tsunami disaster, which started shortly after the flooding, and I think the game is stuck in a loop where the Tsunami is causing the storm to never end. I get new warnings that the Tsunami has struck the city about every 2 minutes. I'm not sure, but I think the flooding from the storm initially triggered the tsunami event in the first place, because there was basically no warning of the tsunami. It said one was about to hit, then within seconds it said it had hit, and keeps repeating that every couple of minutes. I don't know what is going on.

[EDIT] Maybe a false alarm. The storm seems to be tapering off. I think it lasted for exatly one day in RH time, and the tsunami warnings have stopped now. I'm pretty sure the tsunami event had something to do with the storm though.

@kananesgi With regards to RH time make sure the options for time scale match between the two mods. I generally use 0.25 and honestly don't test the other settings that much. I haven't played with ND that much, but if we figure out the conflicts between the two I can probably detour the method with something that makes more sense for rainfall.

Hello,

I got a bug here. The assets don't show up.

The assets which are not in the menu do show up. In the normal water pipe menu, I can buildings in the normal "Water & Sewage" menu, like Tank Resevoir, Pumping service, etc.
I can't see anything which is in the custom menu, like SD force main outlet, Storm drain inlet, Storm drain outlet, etc.

I normally play with more mods, but I tested this with only the Rainfall mod enabled and it still doesn't work.
When I disable all dlcs, the menu shows up.

The menu looks like this when stuff is broken. http://imgur.com/a/cu8JQ
Notice how at the bottom the water icon where the mod stuff should be at is missing.
While it normally looks like this when I disable all dlcs. http://imgur.com/a/jNZd4

I am having a majour physics spaz with the water. I switched on the rainfall difficulty to 200%, as usual, but then when it started to rain, an asston of water physics spewed into the air and leveled my city completely. Other than that, awesome mod!

Did you have any of the new flood spawners placed? I noticed that, as I mentioned in the main comments, the 1m flood spawner can create a massive wave front when it starts to rain, almost like a meteor hitting the water.

Otherwise, maybe something is screwy with the runoff coefficients. Could try adjusting them to see if it helps.
