Not sure on how to place inlets
I really would like to use this mod in my cities, which I believe to add a nice touch to the city planning in addition to get the most out of the really well developed water engine of the game.

However, placing inlets correctly is a puzzle I'm not yet able to solve. Normally in a city, the buildings shouldn't get flooded anytime a storm occurs, but I can't figure out how to prevent this from happening, regardless on how I position the inlets.

I tried to place inlets within the building area (pressing alt) but this doesn't seems to work: the buildings keep getting flooded and if I lower the elevation of the drain with the "move it" mod the shape of the terrain can get so steep that makes the area unsuitable for zoning.

Placing the drains on the road right in front of the buildings (or anywhere nearby) doesn't seems to help neither. A couple of screenshots:

This issues happen sometimes in plains, but mainly while building on hills. Perhaps I should leave gaps between construction areas while going uphill, to fit a drain between buildings, but this would require at least a 2x2 tiles area (256 m2), which is in my view excessive.

Perhaps someone will be able to advise on how to place inlets correctly so I can prevent flooding messages. In reality, a city which seriously invests in flooding prevention should be able to build adjacent buildings along a 100m road going uphill, but I just can't make it work with this mod.

Thank you for reading.
