Bug Report
Solved: Disable time warp

I have a very odd issue that I think is caused by this mod. I'm not 100% sure if it's actually caused by a tree I'm using, but I figured I'll tell you anyway.

So, I found that one time when I placed a tree, random patches of painted terrain disappeared across the city. When I tried to fill them in, the surrounding area of painted terrain began to receed in small chunks. This created an ever escalating situation where more and more terrain started disapperaring, more than I could fill in. It may be a little hard to visualize. I wish I had a video; I couldn't recreate the occurance, yet this has happened to me twice.

I think maybe the issue is that the trees, when placed, paint the surface, and somehow that painted terrain conflicts with the painted terrain placed by the mod. If that's true, I may consider getting a mod that makes it so trees don't have footprints, maybe that would help, but really, my guess is as good as your's.

Please let me know if there's any known fix to this, or if you're working on a fix, or what.

I think it may also be caused by Move It. I moved a node over painted terrain and it all disappeared.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Same issue here. Seems to be related to an update of another mod. Was able to solve it by disabeling the last updated mods. Now searching for the responsible mod. Most suspect atmo is one of SamSams Mods. (Move-It or Fine Road Heights)

Do you use the Mod "Climate Control"?

Don't believe so.

In my case this mod seems to be the issue. At least I can't reproduce the issue without the mod. Need to reactivate some other mods to be shure.
It might be related to the last feature added to "climate control". This allows to change the coordinates. So if you use any mod doing this (I guess timewarp allos this to) try to disable.

For me disabling "Climate control" Mod solved the issue.

Timewarp could be the issue? I have timewarp.

I'll disable it for now.

Well, the only feature that was added reasently to Climate control was the ability to change latitude and longitude of sun position. If timewarp allows this, it might be the issue. Try disabling.

Gonna be another 15 minutes.

My loading time is only about 10 min. :)

Mine is double. But it used to be 30 minutes, it ain't bad compared to that.

Yes. I can confirm that it was this mod. Even a savegame saved after the error occours works now fine.
