Most importantly, before installing this mod please backup TheIsland.ark first. This will allow you to restore to your backup if anything goes wrong.


If you are not running the Improved Dinos - Rare Spawns mod then you can install this mod as normal. The steps to install this mod are:

1) Make a backup of your server to use if anything breaks;
2) Shut down your server;
3) Copy/paste the 632898827 mod files into the /ShooterGame/Content/Mods/ folder;
4) Edit the list of mods to be loaded and ADD the Dino Colors Plus mod to the list as the FIRST mod (our ID is: 632898827);
5) Restart the server;
6) Kill all wild dinos to force the colorful dinos to spawn in. The code to do this is:
cheat destroywilddinos
7) Enjoy the colorful dinos!


If you are running the Improved Dinos - Rare Spawns (IDRP) mod then you must:

1) Make a backup of your server to use if anything breaks;
2) Shut down your server;
3) Copy/paste the 632898827 mod files into the /ShooterGame/Content/Mods/ folder;
4) Edit the list of mods to be loaded and REMOVE the IDRP mod from the list (their ID is: 479929837) and then ADD the Dino Colors Plus mod to the list as the FIRST mod (our ID is: 632898827);
5) Restart the server;
6) Kill all wild dinos to force the colorful dinos to spawn in. The code to do this is:
cheat destroywilddinos
7) Check that none of your tamed colorful dinosaurs have disappeared (if they have, restore to a backup).
8) Enjoy the colorful dinos!
